I am a revert Muslim woman. Why can't I attend the funeral of my non-Muslim parents?

Sister, when Muslim ladies are not allowed to attend the funerals of even their Muslim parents and Muslim children and husbands,, how can it ever be permissible for a Muslim woman to attend the funeral of her non-Muslim parents? The Shariah is clear: it is not permissible to attend the funerals of non-Muslims nor is it permissible for Muslim women to attend funerals of even their Muslim parents.
