I am a farmer in Zimbabwe. Do I pay Ushri Sadqah on the crops of the land? What is the ruling regarding farmland in India?
Answer
The land in Zimbabwe and South Africa is not Ushri land since it was purchased from kuffaar. In India the position is different. If the land is in possession of a Muslim from the time that Muslim rule had been established, then it will be Ushri land. If the land has been purchased from kuffaar then it will not be Ushri.
