Question
The assets of the deceased are insufficient to pay the several creditors. How should the money be distributed to them?
Answer
The creditors will be paid proportionately. For example, if there are three creditors A, B, and C. A's claim is R10, B's is E20 and C's is R30, then A will be paid one sixth of the deceased's money; B will receive two sixths (one third), and C three sixths (half).
