What is the Zakaat Nisaab for gold and silver? What if the gold and silver are less than their respective Nisaab value?
Answer
Gold Nisaab is 2.8 ounces, and silver Nisaab is 19.68 ounces. If your gold is less than the gold Nisaab, and your silver is less than the silver Nisaab, but the value of the two is equal to the Zakaat Nisaab, then you have to pay Zakaat on the combined value.
