Congregational dua a few minutes before iftaar is a new Bid'ah. Not even the Qabar Pujaari sect has this bid'ah. It is not permissible. Bid'ah is on the rise.

The sad part is that most new innovations (bid'at) are nowadays being introduced by those who claim to be the followers of the Ulama of Deoband. Whilst they have gained their smattering of textual knowledge at Deobandi Madaaris, they have lost the path of the Ulama of Deoband. They have strayed, and are straying further and further from Siraatul Mustaqeem with their fabrication of bid'ah customs. In fact, they are on the way to outclass and surpass the grave-worshippers in bid'ah.
