He said: 'And, were you surely there?' I said: 'Yes.' He said: 'Narrate!' Then I said: "I heard Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) saying: "When the black flags appear, then verily, its beginning will be a fitnah (trial/anarchy/ mischief). Its middle will be dhalaal (deviation from the Haqq), and its end will be kufr." Hadhrat Ali (radhiyallahu anhu) narrated: "When you see the black flags, then cling to the earth (i.e. remain where you are). Do not move your hands nor your feet (i.e. do not aid them in any way). Then will appear insignificant people for whom there is no consideration. Their hearts will be like pieces of iron. They will be people of regimes. They will not fulfil promises nor honour pledges. They will (ostensibly) call to the Haqq (Truth) while they (themselves) will not be people of the Haqq. Their names will be patronyms (e.g. Abu this and Abu that), and their relationship will be to towns (cities, etc.). Their hair will be long like the hair of women. (They will perpetrate their shenanigans) until they will differ among themselves. Then Allah will award the Haqq to whomever He wills." (Kitaabul Fitan of Abu Nuaim) ISIS is summed up in a nutshell in the- se Ahaadith. The spectacular rush to 'victory' of ISIS – their swift conquest of the city of Mosul, the flight and melting away of the 30,000 Shiah army stationed in the precincts of Mosul, and the rapid capture of large swathes of territory in Syria and Iraq and of important oilfields which are the life-support of the U.S.A. by ISIS are not without mystery. While a number of theories have been provided by people of diverse backgrounds, what appears clear is that the fellow, Al-Bagdadi is a bogus 'caliph', or he is the deputy 'caliph' while the real 'caliph' is sitting in Washington, namely, Murtad Obama who in turn is the surrogate puppet of the Yahood Mafia gang in control of America. The spectacular and swift gains of ISIS appears to be parts of a massive conspiracy about which the Qur'aan says: "…………….Verily, their plots are such that even mountains can move (from their locations or be displaced)." Some contend that the swift 'victory' of ISIS is due to Allah's Nusrat (Aid). The facts on the ground do not support this theory. The 'victory' of ISIS is superficial. When Allah's Aid arrives, no air force, no army, no nuclear power can stall and thwart it. The Victory will be a genuine Victory which will spread like wildfire and be unstoppable. It will be similar to the Nusrat which was with the Sahaabah who had spilled out from the desert to overrun the world in a matter of a decade. Like a raging storm and a wildfire they raised the Standard of Islam on shores of the Atlantic Ocean in the West, and penetrated China in the East. What type of 'nusrat' does ISIS enjoy? Disgorging his putrid and hypocritical comments on the issue of boycotts, Reverend Abraham Bham of the Fordsburg NNB Jamiat (No Name Brand Jamiat) said: "….I feel very sad (sic!) and disappointed that Ulamah are discouraging and dissuading Muslims to boycott Israeli products and companies." Reality debunks the hypocritical pontification of the Munaafiq. Why was the Reverend not sad and disappointed when his organization (SANHA, the carrion halaalizer) certified Israeli products not so long ago? At that time there was a hue and cry of disgust and protest in the Muslim community. But the SANHA department of the NNB Jamiat whose head is Reverend Abraham Bham, desperately presented arguments justifying their certification of Israeli products. It should be remembered that the NNB Jamiat of Fordsburg, SANHA and Radio Shaitaan are an unholy trinity. All three are cogs of the same entity. They are not merely birds of a feather. They are one, single organization operating deceptively under different designations. Add to this cartel, their bogus 'UUCSA'. Reverend Abraham Bham as well as all those who are calling for a boycott of Israel are hypocrites clambering on the bandwagon of cheap publicity in the name of Palestine. The objective is selfaggrandizement, and some participants are cashing in on the boodle generated in the name of Palestine. Some of these miserable hypocrites howling in the name of Palestine, derive joy and fun from the blood and torn limbs of the brutalized suffering Muslims of Palestine. They grotesquely engage in fun rides, bike rides, motorcades, cooning and clowning with their faces painted like apes, and prancing in the streets like monkeys, calling for boycotts against Israel, Pick 'n Pay and Woolworths while they are all in cahoots with the actual and true SATANS whose agent in the butchering and massacring fields is Israel. Israel is the agent while the real principle in the massacring is the U.S.A. If the Reverend Abraham Bham and the other louts calling for a boycott of the underlings (Israel, Pick n' Pay, etc.) were motivated by sincerity and genuine heartfelt feeling for the suffering Palestinian Muslims, they would have directed their boycott calls firstly to the U.S.A. and Britain. It should be remembered and understood that the creators of Israel were the U.S.A. and Britain. These two countries have been Israel's backbone and primary supporters and sustainers since the very inception of the establishment of the rogue Arab-backyard 'state' called Israel. These two countries had not only condoned, but had actively aided Israel in every massacre of the Palestinians. Trillions of dollars in cash and trillions of dollars of arms and ammunition to massacre the Muslims were provided to Israel by the U.S.A., Britain, France and others. Yet, there is a deafening silence from the Reverend Abraham Bham and his cohorts in other front bodies who operate in Palestine's name for the attainment of their ulterior objectives – hubb-ejah (craving for name/fame), hubb-e-maal (craving for money). The objective of the fools in the community who paint their faces like coons and clowns is to derive immoral fun and enjoyment out of the suffering of a People whose blood gushes in the streets and whose limbs are being torn apart. Whilst the Palestinians are dyed in blood and are being butchered on a daily basis, these rubbishes who paint their faces, and these fussaaq, fujjaar, faajiraat and zaaniyaat, goaded on by devils of the hypocritical 'boycott' movement, are immorally partying in fun and enjoyment filling their bellies with haraam food – garrulously eating and excreting like wild beasts. They are bereft of a single vestige of shame, honour and grief. If Reverend Abraham Bham had any genuine feeling of grief for the suffering Palestinian brethren NEVER would he have sanctioned the squandering of R24,000 (twenty four thousand rand) for a 30 minute chartered plane trip from Johannesburg to Newcastle to enable him to attend a haraam protest march in the name of Palestine. Just two Fridays ago, this evil reverend practically demonstrated that he was among Ikhwaanush Shayaateen (Brothers of the Devils), in the words of the Qur'aan, by approving the chartering of a plane to transport him to Newcastle (a mere 300 km from Johannesburg) to gratify his inordinate greed for name and fame. His rabidly insane craving to address the protest march blinded whatever little intelligence he may have. How is it possible for a molvi who claims to be emotionally affected by grief for the plight of the Palestinians to squander and gush down the sewerage drain and enrich the kuffaar by spending from Lillah funds R24,000 for a 30 minute trip to Newcastle? Could the money not have been contributed to purchase some food for the starving Muslims in the Syrian refugee camps? The reverend has no entitlement whatsoever to wag his hypocritical tongue to pontify and lament about Palestine when he is in cahoots with the U.S.A. Butchers who constitute the Backbone of the Israeli Butchers and Murderers. Not so very long ago, the reverend's NNB Jamiat proudly accepted a lousy handout of R35,000 as a prize doled out by the U.S. embassy in Pretoria. Right now – right in the vortex of the horrendous misery, bloodshed and murder being enacted by America's surrogate state (Israel), the U.S. is supplying Israel with hundreds of millions of dollars of arms and ammunition to further pummel and destroy the Palestinians. Why is Reverend Abraham Bham not calling for a boycott of America and of all U.S. businesses, banks, institutions, vehicles, etc., etc. in South Africa? And, why are the miserable chap and all those hypocrites who are calling to boycott Pick n' Pay and Woolworths not calling for a boycott of U.S.A., Britain, France, China, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and other countries who are all in collusion against Hamas and the Palestinians? China has eliminated millions of Muslims and persecution and killing of Muslims in the Chinese Muslim provinces are on-going. Ramadhaan and Taraaweeh have been prohibited this year in that pork-devouring land. Why are all these munaafiqeen not calling for a boycott of China? Because they can't fill their coffers with boodle without the cheap Chinese products? And why are all these rubbishes not calling for a boycott of India where Muslims are massacred frequently. Everyone knows the sad story of Kashmir. The decades of murder, torture, rape, pillage and plunder of Muslims in Kashmir is an ongoing satanic process of the brutal Hindu Mushrik regime and military of India. Why not call for a boycott of these idol-worshippers. What is so special in Pick n' Pay and Woolworths to demand priority? The first devils to be boycotted are U.S.A. and Britain. Those who call for a boycott without calling for a boycott of all American and U.K. institutions of whatever kind in South Africa, are hypocritical rubbishes. All the banks in the country must likewise be boycotted. All of them are permeated by Yahood, U.S. and U.K stench and control. Our advice for all these miserable hypocrites is to engage in elaborate investigations to establish the Yahood thread in every department of life in South Africa. Then, if they are honest and sincere, they should call for a boycott of every such institution which constitute a cog, no matter how small, in the Yahood conspiratorial machinery. Banks should have priority on this boycott list. Boycott the whole miserable lot, and eat what you can farm and boycott their vehicles, and ride donkey carts instead. The miserable rubbishes call to boycott Israeli dates, but enjoy Chinese products because their sustenance hinges on these products. No one is inconvenienced here by boycotting Israeli dates and a smattering of its fruits. Honour demands that Chinese, Indian, American and British products and institutions of every kind be boycotted. The first Iblees to argue against boycotting the kuffaar enemies of Islam, was Reverend Abraham Bham. When the entire Muslim community of South Africa had initiated a boycott of the Sunday Times for vilifying and insulting Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam), this munaafiq molvi stabbed the Ulama of the country in the back by entering into a clandestine agreement with the Sunday Times. As a result of his treacherous collusion with the Sunday Times villifiers of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam), the reverend called for an end to the boycott and in justification presented a plethora of rubbish and spurious arguments. Now suddenly he jumps on to the Israel boycott bandwagon to gratify his bestial and garrulous appetite for hubb-e-jah! Any boycott which excludes America, Britain, France, China and India, is hollow, hypocritical and instigated by munaafiqeen with ulterior motives. In addition to being the primary supporter and backbone of Israel, America has destroyed entire Muslim countries and murdered and maimed millions of Muslims – Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya are current examples. In addition, the U.S.A. has abducted and tortured in its black, secret torture facilities all over the world countless Muslims, and this evil policy is still on going. But no one calls for boycotting this arch-murderer and torturer. Just look what America is doing to Dr. Aafiyah Siddiqui who is languishing in a U.S. torture facility. These hypocritical morons, and the Reverend Abraham Bham in particular, have welded their lips on this issue. Furthermore, no one has advocated against the boycott of Israeli goods. On the contrary, the Reverend Abraham Bham with his SANHA outfit are the only ones who have actively campaigned against Israeli boycott by intransigently certifying and halaalizing Israeli goods. Our advocacy is against the haraam fisq, fujoor and zina perpetrations which Reverend Abraham Bham and other miserable, hypocritical 'supporters' of Palestine are perpetrating. The "ground invasion" of Gaza resulted in scores and carloads with maimed, torn apart, bleeding, shivering, dying - all sorts of injured Palestinians, all ages, all civilians, all innocent. The heroes in the ambulances and in all of Gaza's hospitals are working 12-24 hour shifts, grey from fatigue and inhuman workloads (without payment all in Shifa for the last 4 months), they care, triage, try to understand the incomprehensible chaos of bodies, sizes, limbs, walking, not walking, breathing, not breathing, bleeding, not bleeding humans. HUMANS! Now, once more treated like animals by "the most moral army in the world" (sic!). My respect for the wounded is endless, in their contained determination in the midst of pain, agony and shock; my admiration for the staff and volunteers is endless, my closeness to the Palestinian "sumud" gives me strength, although in glimpses I just want to scream, hold someone tight, cry, smell the skin and hair of the warm child, covered in blood, protect ourselves in an endless embrace - but we cannot afford that, nor can they. Ashy grey faces - Oh NO! Not one more load of tens of maimed and bleeding, we still have lakes of blood on the floor in the ER, piles of dripping, blood-soaked bandages to clear out - oh - the cleaners, everywhere, swiftly shovelling the blood and discarded tissues, hair, clothes, cannulas - the leftovers from death - all taken away ... To be prepared again, to be repeated all over. More than 100 cases came to Shifa in the last 24 hrs. Enough for a large well trained hospital with everything, but here - almost nothing: no electricity, water, disposables, drugs, OR-tables, instruments, monitors - all rusted and as if taken from museums of yesterday's hospitals. But they do not complain these heroes. They get on with it, like warriors, head on, enormously resolute. And as I write these words to you, alone, on a bed, my tears flow, the warm but useless tears of pain and grief, of anger and fear. This is not happening! An then, just now, the orchestra of the Israeli war-machine starts its gruesome symphony again, just now: salvos of artillery from the navy boats just down on the shores, the roaring F16, the sickening drones (Arabic 'Zennanis', the hummers), and the cluttering Apaches. So much made in and paid by the US. Mr. Obama - do you have a heart? I invite you - spend one night - just one night - with us in Shifa. Disguised as a cleaner, maybe. I am convinced, 100%, it would change history. Nobody with a heart AND power could ever walk away from a night in Shifa without be- ing determined to end the slaughter of the Palestinian people. Ten thousand? Twenty thousand? Does anyone in the Afghan government or the International Security Assistance Force have any idea of the number? But there are a few things that are certain, no matter how few or how many Taliban (let's use that inaccurate term for want of a better collective noun) there might be. For a start, the Taliban have no air force. Not one single aircraft. And deployed against them are hundreds of strategic bombers, ground-attack helicopters, groundattack jet fighters, drones and surveillance aircraft of a sophistication that takes the breath away. Foreign forces have monster balloons that fly above their fortresses with cameras to film their perimeters. These, and the surveillance aircraft and the vast array of satellites whirling round the globe ensure that not a movement is undetected; not a telephone conversation goes unrecorded. Not a communication is unread. (Which happens elsewhere, of course, courtesy of various democratic governments.) In 1986 the Soviets had some 250 combat aircraft and 140 attack helicopters in Afghanistan, along with a massive intelligence capability, and a fat lot of good that did them. They lost 15,000 dead and 50,000 wounded in their ten years of occupation. So far the toll of corpses of foreign troops in the Fifth Afghan War is 3,411 in twelve years. The wounded are estimated at some 20,000. Nobody knows how many Afghan soldiers have been killed or maimed, and nobody cares, except their families. Little wonder the Afghan army desertion problem is so grim. The Taliban have no tanks or other armoured vehicles. The foreigners have thousands of them, roaring around in their search for the raggy-baggy irregulars they seek to destroy. The Taliban have no artillery. While the foreigners pound them with high explosive there is no possibility of reaction, save, perhaps, by a few ancient Soviet-era mortars. You're getting the picture: here we have the most technically dazzling military force in the world, with every conceivable martial contraption of the most amazing efficiency, and a bottomless pit of money, and it hasn't been able to defeat "a bunch of dudes in bed sheets and flip-flops" as the Taliban are so well described by one of the few American military officers who has dared to speak truthfully about the Afghanistan disaster. Retried US Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Davis wrote a paper on the debacle in Afghanistan a few years ago and nobody in Washington paid attention to it. His reports about the idiot senior officers and defence officials responsible for so much of the shambles are revealing. Here, for example, is his record about a particularly stupid commander, one General Stanley McChrystal, who told the US Senate in December 2009 that "additional forces will begin to deploy shortly and by this time next year new security gains will be illuminated by specific indicators and it will be clear to us that the insurgency has lost the momentum. By the summer of 2011 it will be clear to the Afghan people that the insurgency will not win." Just how wrong can you be? Perhaps not as wrong as another fool, the Department of Defence's Michele Flournoy, who in 2010 told the Senate that "our overall assessment is that we are heading in the right direction in Afghanistan. .. indicators suggest that we are beginning to regain the initiative and the insurgency is beginning to lose momentum." Phooey. Mind you, not all senior military officers are stupid. Five years ago British Brigadier Mark Carleton-Smith said that "We want to change the nature of the debate from one where disputes are settled through the barrel of a gun to one where it is done through negotiations. If the Taliban were prepared to sit on the other side of the table and talk about a political settlement, then that's precisely the sort of progress that concludes insurgencies like this." Nobody heeded him, either, and I was amazed when he was promoted major general because he also said that "this is a task which one measures in decades." But the likes of Carleton-Smith are few and far between, and much of the responsibility for losing this war must, alas, be placed squarely on the generals. I have no doubt they're brave in battle – but they didn't stand up to their own politicians. When a country decides to go to war, the process is in essence simple. The politicians tell the generals precisely what is to be achieved. They define the national mission that makes it so important to hazard soldiers' lives. The generals make plans and go back to the pollies and tell them exactly what they want: how many troops, the level of tactical support, and so on – all the costs of war must be made clear. And the main thing is the 'mission': can it be achieved? If the politicians tell the generals they can't have sufficient resources to achieve the mission – in numbers of troops, for example – then the generals must resign, because it would be totally dishonourable to commit soldiers to battle without being guaranteed absolute support. There are complexities, of course, because the mission that used to be given to military men was usually pretty straightforward: 'To Defeat the Enemy' was generally regarded as being a reasonable aim. But the present mission of foreign troops in Afghanistan is to "reduce the capability and will of the insurgency, support the growth in capacity and capability of the Afghan National Security Forces and facilitate improvements in governance and socio -economic development in order to provide a secure environment for sustainable stability that is observable to the population." How on earth can you tell how many troops are needed to "facilitate improvements in socio-economic development"? That's absurd, and that's why there has been defeat in Afghanistan. Alas, it's the generals who bear the final responsibility. They should have told the politicians that it was Mission Impossible. THE QUR'AAN THE QUR'AAN THE QUR'AAN Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: "Verily, Allah will elevate some people with this Qur'aan, and He will humiliate some with it." The Sahaabah were the men who had clung to the Qur'aan in privacy and in public. They were embodiments of the Qur'aan. With the Sword, the Sahaabah planted the Standard of Islam on the hilltops of the world, and with the Qur'aan they raised the glory of Allah's Word. Thus, Allah Ta'ala honoured them. He made them the masters and rulers of the world. Thereafter, when the Muslim Ummah discarded the Qur'aan in privacy and in public. When they enslaved themselves to the cultures of the kuffaar, Allah Ta'ala humiliated Muslims with the imposition of kuffaar domination. It was mentioned to Khalifh Ma'moon that Kisra, the Persian emperor was famed for his justice. Ma'moon commented: "It has reached me that the earth does not devour the bodies of just kings. It is my intention to ascertain the veracity of this narration regarding Kisra. The Khalifah Ma'moon then went to Persia (which was at that time under Islamic domination). He had the tomb of Kisra opened. He descended into the tomb. When he reached Kisra's body, he (Ma'moon) opened the face. He was astonished to see an extremely handsome face. The garments on him were intact. Nothing had changed. He saw in his finger a ring of such a precious red stone which no king had in his treasury. On the ring was a Faarsi inscription. Ma'moon was extremely surprised and flabbergasted, and he commented: "This man is a Majusi who worshipped the fire, yet Allah Ta'ala did not destroy his acts of justice which he meted out to his people." Then he ordered that the body be covered with a silken cloth embroidered with gold. On this occasion there was a slave with Ma'moon. When Ma'moon was not looking at the body, the slave managed to snatch the ring. Later when Ma'moon was informed of the theft, he ordered the slave to be whipped. The ring was returned and replaced on Kisra's finger. Ma'moon said: "This slave intended to humiliate us in the ranks of the non-Muslim kings. They would comment that Ma'moon is a thief who steals from graves." Then the Khalifah instructed that molten lead be poured over the tomb so that it may never again be opened. The Hadith narrations about the "Black Flags" are being used by some groups to portray themselves as the righteous army mentioned in the Hadith. Over the past centuries there were imposters who had also claimed to be Imaam Mahdi (alayhis salaam) as predicted in the Ahaadith. The same stunt is now used regarding the Black Flags to gain support by deception. This stunt is generally employed by Salafi groups. Any group sporting black flags should not be blindly accepted merely on the basis of the black flags they flutter. The criterion is always the Shariah. Any activity and any group in conflict with the Shariah will be imposters. The righteous army with Black Flags will emerge from the east in Khurasan. Imaam Mahdi (alayhis salaam) will be in that army unknown to the Mujahideen constituting the army. This army will initiate its operations before the appearance in public of Imaam Mahdi (alayhis salaam). Furthermore, there is no certitude regarding this army. Who will be the Mujaahideen? From which nation will they be? When exactly will this army appear, etc.? It is best to leave ambiguous what the Shariah has left ambiguous. Theories and opinions are all conjecture. THE HORRENDOUS PILLAGE and plunder perpetrated by the Israeli Yahood in Gaza is simply another chapter in Divine Punishment – the promised Athaab. There are no accidents and meaningless coincidences in Allah's creation. Every atom moves by Allah's command and every minute event is in His knowledge and transpires when He decrees. "Not an atom in the earth nor in the heaven is hidden from your Rabb. Nor anything smaller than it (than a grain/ atom), nor anything bigger, but it is recordedinaClearRecord." (Yoonus, Aayat 61) There are other verses too which emphasize this reality. The Qur'aan and Hadith also state with clarity that kuffaar domination and brutality on Muslims are the consequences of gross transgression and rebellion by Muslims against the Law of Allah Azza Wa Jal. So what has happened in Gaza and what is happening in other lands of Muslims is the Athaab of Allah Ta'ala. While the consequences are lamentable and heart-rending, they are not surprising. Stupid and wayward Muslims enslaved to kuffaar concepts, whose minds are colonized by the western kuffaar, instead of understanding the cause of Muslim suffering, embark on more transgression – transgression which they believe is the solution for the suffering plaguing the Ummah universally. Thus, they behave exactly like the godless and immoral kuffaar with their haraam protest marches, dancing, singing, cooning, merrymaking and zina functions in the name of the suffering Muslims, currently the Palestinians. The Qur'aan and the Ahaadith have explained that the solution for our disgrace and suffering at the boots of the kuffaar is nothing but Inaabat ilallaah. That is, to turn to Allah Ta'ala in repentence and to pledge obedience and to revolutionize our lifestyle to conform to the Shariah and the Sunnah of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam). Minus this Inaabat, there is absolutely no hope for succour and change. Instead of our deplorable and lamentable position changing and improving, the Ummah will only slide down deeper into disgrace and suffering, and the kuffaar will remain our masters, rulers and tormentors. Although Allah Ta'ala has inflicted on the Muslims of Gaza His punishment in the form of the Israeli kuffaar brutality, He has not allowed the Israelis to eliminate the Palestinian Muslims. Despite the vast military superiority of the Israelis, on their own admission they have not achieved victory. After the 50 day relentless brutal air bombardment, the Israelis are no where near to the victory they were pursuing. According to the figures they have released, they suffered 64 soldiers killed and 7 civilians. Perhaps this figure is considerably more. While the Israeli airforce killed more than 2000 civilians and destroyed tens of thousands of buildings, including hospitals and schools, the Palestinian Mujahideen successfully thwarted the attempted Israeli ground invasion. It was in this attempt that Israelis lost their 64 soldiers. Despite 50 days of relentless air strikes. The Israeli army miserably failed on the ground. Furthermore, by the fadhl of Allah Azza Wa Jal, the morale of the Muslims was not broken by the incessant air bombardment and destruction wrought by the Israelis. This is also a facet of Allah's Nusrat. The Yahood in Israel are annoyed with Netanyahu for what they see as defeat. The war has not brought any gains for Israel. Weary and exhausted, Israel has accepted a truce, the terms of which are favourable for Hamas. All the terms are detestable for Israel. Yahudi analyst Shimon Shiffer, writing in Yedioth Ahronoth, Israel's most prominent and best-selling newspaper, states: "After 50 days of warfare in which a terror organization killed dozens of soldiers and civilians, destroyed the daily routine and placed the country in a state of economic distress….we could have expected much more than an announcement of a ceasfire. We could have expected the prime minister to resign." The mood in Israel is sullen and defeatist whereas it is the opposite in Gaza. We can only supplicate and ask Al- lah Ta'ala to guide the Palestinian Muslims to understand the cause of their humiliation and suffering, and to institute valid Shar'i remedies to solve the imbroglio in which they have been trapped for more than 60 years. The favourable terms of the ceasfire for Gaza are: The immediate opening of Gaza's blockaded crossings with Israel and Egypt and a widening of Gaza's fishing zone in the Mediterranean Sea. The clear defeat of Israel has sparked a furious row within the Israeli cabinet. This row now threatens to bring down the coalition government. Israel's ground war/invasion was a total failure and defeat. Its brutal air bombardment, besides killing and maiming civilians, including about 500 children, has only worn down the Israeli armed forces and cost the U.S. puppet state billions of wasted dollars, and discord within its own ranks on all levels. The setbacks suffered by Israel are also Allah's Mercy for the suffering Muslims of Gaza. If only they can understand and reform themselves morally and spiritually, Allah Ta'ala will turn the table overnight. But if they intransigently persist in their downward slide into the cesspool of moral inequity – fisq and fujoor, then Allah Ta'ala has this Warning for them: "Perhaps, soon your Rabb may have mercy on you. But if you return (to transgression, fisq and fujoor), We too shall return (to you with athaab in the form of kuffaar domination). And, We have made Jahannam an abode for the kuffaar." (Al-Israa', Aayat 8) All Salafi Takfiris are extremists. They are termed Takfiri because a fundamental doctrine of their faith is to proclaim all Muslims who do not belong to their sects 'kaafir'.) But, ISIS is the worst of the Takfiris. All other Salafis too are kaafir according to ISIS. Their life and property are halaal for killing and plundering. Muslim Abu Walid Shishani, one of the most prominent Mujaahideen leaders in Syria states: "I've been here two years and have witnessed all these events from the very beginning. At first when we came here there were very few Muhaajireen (Foreign Mujaahideen), and they were mostly in Jabhatun Nusra and Ahraar Shaam (These are foreign Jihad groups fighting in Syria). Among the Ansaar (The Syrians) we saw jahl (ignorance regarding the Deen). But it is no exaggeration to say that most of them love Islam and want Islam in this land. They (Jabhatun Nusra) organized here in Latkia a Madrasah for students. Those who had little knowledge of Islam were taught in the Madrasah. They learnt the elementary teachings of Islam such as Salaat, etc. Then they opened Madrasahs for little children……. We opened 17 Musjids that had been closed, and we organized Da'wah, Jumua and daily Salaat. Gradually, people began filling the Musaajid. These brothers (of Jabhatun Nusra) worked not only with the people in general, but also went to the Free Syrian Army for the purpose of Da'wah, and we saw good results…… I remember when I visited Umar Shishaani (a Mujaahid commander), he went, filled with emotion, to the second floor, and said: "Wallaah! These Tafirists have driven me crazy. I want to chuck them out." They (the Takfirsts) were a group of 150, mostly Azerbaijanis. They would make takfeer of Jabhatun Nusra and other groups (of Mujaahideen). ……They put checkpoints on the roads with masked guards and took cars from people, killed them and sold their cars. One brother, an Uzbek who had bought a car from them, later after ISIS left, was taken to the Shariah court, and was ordered to return the vehicle. Another young Ansaar recognized the refrigerator truck belonging to his father. He found the body of his father among other bodies, and said in tears that he had searched for him everywhere without knowing what had happened to him. They (the Takfirists) said that this was the trophy they had taken from the infidels. (Every Muslim who is not an extremist Takfiri, is an infidel to them). …….In the main, they did not fight against the infidels. Rather they said: "Everyone here is an infidel. Against whom should we fight?" But despite all of this, the local people loved the Muhaajireen (Foreign Fighters). Umar Shishani was the leader of the group, Jaishul Muhaajireem wal Ansaar. This was one of the first groups of foreign fighters operating in Syria. In a short time it gained a very large force. Local people greatly trusted this group. When problems developed, they immediately turned to Umar Shishani. Umar endeavoured his best to solve the problems, most of which were related to the arrogance and rudeness of the Muhaajireen….. The influence which Umar's group exercised did not go unnoticed by the infidels. Soon America blacklisted Jabhatun Nusra………..No sooner did we enjoy this victory over fitnah, when another broke out. It was more terrible and it was a bloody fitnah (this involved ISIS). This bloody fitnah is still gaining momentum. Not much time had passed when Abu Bakr Baghdadi surfaced and announced to the world the "Islamic State of Iraq and Sham". This was indeed a very big surprise for the Mujaahideen. Not because we did not want and did not aspire for this, but because he did not take into consideration the situation in Syria nor did he consider those who had shed blood on this part of the earth. Even Muhammad Jolani who was Abu Bakr's deputy in Syria was surprised to hear this announcement. More than that, even Dr.Ayman Zawahiri who at the time was Abu Bakr's Amir, was surprised. He wrote in his letter that he was not in "the loop". Everyone understood that it would only backfire, not only on the people, but among the groups of Ansaar who did not know Abu Bakr, especially since he is not an Ansaar and since there were unpleasant rumours flying around about the jihad in Iraq. The Mujaahideen in Iraq were fighting with each other. Hundreds of Mujahideen were killed in this fitnah of internecine fighting. Mohammad Jolani (Abu Bakr's deputy) officially came out and refused to accept this. He declared that he had sworn an oath of allegiance to Al-Qaaidah and awaited the decision of Dr.Zawahiri. After Abu Bakr's declaration, Jabhatun Nusra split into two. Initially few supported Abu Bakr. A decision on this issue by Dr. Zawahiri was delayecd. During this time of procrastination, the supporters of Abu Bkr took advantage to bring about changes. Foreign fighters joined them. However, since they did not gain many recruits, they began visiting all the foreign fighter Jamaats. They visited me also a few times, but I refused to join them, saying that they first need to solve their problems. At that time the largest foreign fighter group was Umar Shishani's Jamaat. I heard that he had hosted Abu Bakr for several days. As we had a very close relationship, I did not want him to become embroiled in this fitnah. I saw no goodness in it. In any case, until Dr.Zawahiri said something, I did not want him to hurry, since both Jolani and Abu Bakr were subordinate to him, and he had to have the final word. But, when I visited him, it was too late. He had already sworn allegiance. Umar at the time had about a thousand Muhahjireen, and it was a serious force. They consolidated Abu Bakr's position. After all, it was mostly Caucasians who were with Umar, and they were known to be good warriors, and everyone tried to get more of them in their group. I explained as best as I could that he should not go into this fitnah. He was not sure of his choice, hence said that if the situation deteriorated, he would leave them. Finally when Zawahiri's decision was announced that both should remain at their posts and continue as before, Abu Bakr refused. I then went to see Umar, but he had made his choice. for the others. At this time, Abu Basir, the Amir of one of the FSA groups, together with a few people, visited me at the base. He was one of the most influential Amirs of the Ansaar. Earlier, sometimes we would visit them. They would warmly welcome us and express their happiness. He said that he desired to work with us and was prepared to obey in all things. He informed us that he received weapons from the Majlis Askari, the representative of FSA in Turkey. If they discovered that he was with us, they would stop supplying weapons. He said that if it was permitted by the Shariah, he would not announce his association with us. However, if it was not permissible, then he was prepared to forego the supplies from Turkey. He also asked that we should send a learned brother to them to make dua since the brothers in his group were weak of Imaan and smoked. Nevertheless, he assured us that he would endeavour his best to reform them. Mohaisany attempted to talk to ISIS in Latkia regarding an incident which required a Shariah Court's ruling. But he said that it did not matter what the court said because the authority for the people was the various websites……… Sayfullah told me that he was approached by young Caucasian brothers from ISIS, who asked to talk to Umar Shishani because their Amirs were compelling them to kill civilians. This fitnah had a detrimental effect on the military operations against the Assad regime. We were at a loss, not knowing what to do. We were afraid to raise our weapons, especially in the absence of a fatwa from the Ulama. It was also most distressful to sit back and spectate………….Once we were shelled by an ISIS sniper post. The Ansaar seeing us foreign fighters, immediately raised the alarm, and there was the danger that they too might shoot at us. So I decided to get out of there by any means……….I sent a man to the ISIS Amir to say that we were leaving, therefore they should take over this place. In response, they said they do not care even if the kaafirs came. I was very surprised that between 2 and 3 thousand, almost all Muhaajireen, out of more than 50 thousand Mujaahideen, declare themselves a state and call anyone who does not obey them apostates. And, they forgot that Shariah is higher than the state, and that it is higher than even a caliphate. I can confidently say that here in Sham, wisdom is taking a rest. Only emotions operate here. You won't see many of those coming out and talking having life and military experience. Basically those who are waging jihad RELEVANT TO PALESTINE Recounting Allah's Athaab which had overtaken the Muslims (Bani Israaeel) of bygone times, the Qur'aan Majeed says: "…..On the first occasion) We sent against you such of Our (kuffaar) servants (a reference to Nebucanezzar – Bukhtanassar) who were powerful in warfare. They penetrated (your) homes, and it was a promise fulfilled (by Allah). Thereafter, We restored your domination over them (the kuffaar) and We aided you with wealth and children, and We made you the majority in numbers. If you practice virtue, it is for your own selves, and if you commit evil, it is for your own detriment. Then, when the second decree came (by Our Command) so that they (the kuffaar) disfigure your faces, and that they enter (defile and destroy) the Musjid (i.e. Musjidul Aqsa) as they had entered it the first occasion, and that they destroy everything they overrun. Perhaps soon your Rabb will have mercy on you. But if you repeat (your evil), then We too shall repeat (Our Athaab). We have made Jahannam an abode/prison for the kuffaar." (Al-Israa, Aayaat 5 – 8) cern for marching on Baghdad. It trumpets about invading and taking Spain, when it is miserably impotent to go to the aid of the Palestinians being butchered by Israel. It issues hollow and laughable threats of reaching Washington whilst Baghdad is right on its doorstep, held by a cripple, miserable Shiah rag-tag government. The U.S.A. cannot afford that Saudi Arabia, Iraq, in fact the entire Middle East with its oil wealth, slip out of its control and influence. The U.S. will never voluntarily quit the Middle east. Its survival as a super power is dependent on Middle eastern oil wealth. The inertia and the little concern which the U.S. has displayed over the events unfolding in Iraq are uncanny and peculiar. To kill a single commander in Afghanistan, the U.S. sends a drone and in the process kills a number of people in the house where the commander is believed to be. America has dispatched numerous drones on missions targeting individuals. It has mercilessly bombed the mudhuts of village folk and their fields. Yet, it is so complacent about the advances of ISIS whose fighters move openly in convoys of armoured vehicles which are perfect targets for easy bombing. But America desists from striking the unprotected military convoys of ISIS. The recent couple of air strikes are ploys for covering the role of the U.S. who appears to be the handler of ISIS. If the U.S. had no role in the rise of ISIS, it would not have remained an idle spectator for so long, allowing Iraq to fall into the hands of the "terrorists", and Iraq becoming the headquarters for "terrorists" who will soon be threatening Israel, Saudi Arabia and the other surrogate puppets of America. Despite ISIS military targets being exposed and moving in the open desert with impunity being easy fodder for U.S. warplanes and drones, America has become a backseat-spectator. ISIS is not an Islamic Khilaafate. It is in fact an American 'caliphate' to serve U.S. and Saudi interests. If ISIS is a movement of Haqq and if its superficial 'victories' are the consequence of Divine Aid (Allahs's Nusrat), it would have by this time overrun Baghdad, consolidating its position and bringing the entire Iraq under its domination. This would have been the immediate scenario. Without an established headquarters, it is not possible to execute the objectives of a Khilaafate – genuine Khilaafate such as the Khilaafate of the Sahaabah and the Taabieen. If ISIS is a movement of Haqq, it would not have brutally uprooted the non-Muslim communities of Iraq. Hundreds of thousands of non-Muslims (Christians, Yazidis and Shiahs) have fled their homes. Non-Muslims in an Islamic state are the target for Da'wat and Tabligh, not for Qatl (killing). The objective of Jihad is I'laa Kalimatullah – to raise the Word of Allah Ta'ala, that is Islam. Why did the entire non-Muslim population flee? The fear of being pillaged, plundered and killed drove them to abandon their homes and the land where they had lived for thousands of years. When the Sahaabah invaded the lands of the kuffaar, there was no mass exodus of non-Muslims. When nonMuslims in an Islamic state opt for retaining their religion, Islam imposes on them a tax called Jizyah. The benefits of this tax are welcome to the nonMuslim citizens of the Islamic state. In lieu of Jizyah, their life and property are safe just as safe as that of the Muslim citizens. They are free to retain their religions. They are exempt from military duty. A wonderful bonus is the abolition of income tax and the host of other taxes and oppressive governmen- tal levies, fines, etc. The Jizyah is a mere fraction of the bludgeoning burden of kuffaar taxation. Thus, there is no reason for non-Muslims to flee from an Islamic state. Since ISIS is not a genuine Islamic movement of the Haqq, and since it acquits itself brutally in the same way as the kuffaar do, the non-Muslim population took flight. If ISIS is a movement of Haqq, it would not have killed 'Sunnis' (i.e. Bid'atis). Bid'atis may not be killed. The process of reformation and eliminating Bid'ah is gradual. It is an academic and an educational process. ISIS is perpetrating the same crimes of murder as had the Saudis when they were installed as the 'Islamic' government of Hijaaz subsequently and wrongfully dubbed, 'Saudi Arabia'. Hijaaz is not the property of the Saudi nomads who have been transformed into royalty by their handler, Britain. Muslims should not be so gullible as to fall into the trap of any one who raises the slogan of Khilaafate and Jihad. It is now in vogue to cite the Ahaadith of the Black Flags for claiming legitimacy. Our criterion is not the 'black flags'. The criterion is the Shariah. Any movement acting in violation of the Shariah is Baatil. Irene (Augusta), the empress of Byzantinium (the eastern Roman Empire) had concluded a treaty with the Abbaasi (Abbaside) Khalifah Mahdi. In the year 182 Hijri, she had blinded her son and seized the throne. After five years of rule, she was deposed and exiled. Nicephorus (known to Muslims by the name, Niqfoor) became the emperor. On his ascension to the throne, he violated the treaty which had been concluded between Irene and the Muslims. Niqfoor dispatched an insulting letter to the Abbaasi Khalifah Haroon Rashid. From a common sense point of view, it isn't very difficult to see how the ongoing mainstream media narratives about ISIS no longer makes any financial or practical sense from a day-to-day/daily-living point of view. On having read this letter of mine, return all that wealth which you had received from her otherwise the sword shall decide your defeat and our victory." Haroon Rashid was furious when he read this insolent letter. His faced darkened with so much anger that no one at that time dared to speak with him. His ministers out of fear dispersed. No one dared offered Haroon Rashid any counsel on that occasion. Then on the reverse side of Niqfoor's letter, he wrote: "From Haroom. The Commander of the Faithful (Mu'mineen), to Niqfoor the dog of Rome. O son of a kaqfirah! I have read your letter. The answer you shall see, not hear." Haroon Rashid sounded the war drums the very same day. He set out personally with his army the very same day, not stopping enroot at any place. He penetrated Roman territory, and sacked and destroyed the cities of the Romans. The battle with Niqfoor took place at Hereclea where the Romans were decisively defeated. Niqfoor petitioned for peace. He pledged to pay an increased tax annually. Haroon Rashid accepted. However, when Haroon Rashid with his army reached Rakkah in Shaam (Syria), Niqfoor having underestimated the Khalifah, violated the treaty. He had gained the impression that Haroon Rashid would not return to do battle so quick in so inclement a season. As soon as Haroon Rashid was informed of the violation he set off to punish the Roman dog. The Roman emperor was shocked with astonishment and fear by the rapid march of Haroon Rashid who braved the snow in mid-winter. In the battle, Niqfoor having been wounded, fled. Haroon Rashid entered the emperor's palace and tied his horse in the courtyard. Niqfoor sued for peace, and again Haroon Rashid accepted. The tax on him was trebled. AMIR Hamad, 11, cradled his infant sister in his arms, saying: "She will call me Daddy and Mommy," after the Gaza war left him and his four siblings orphans. Bisan Daher, 8, lost both parents and several brothers in an air raid in northern Gaza. "We were all at home. We don't have anything to hide, no rockets. But they hit our house while we were all inside. "Now mom and dad and my brothers are in heaven," she said, still covered in bandages. She was trapped for six hours under the rubble before paramedics found her and took her to hospital. Bisan's married sister Noha, 28, has taken her in. "She's still haunted and traumatised by the incident. She doesn't sleep, she cries a lot and keeps calling for mom and dad," Noha said. Figures released by the UN show that at least 373 000 Gazan children will need psychological support in the wake of the seven-week war. Children also numbered high on the casualty list, making up nearly a quarter of the dead — of the 2 143 victims, 494 were children. On the Israeli side, one child was among 70 people killed, 64 of them soldiers. Al-Amal the Gaza Strip's only orphanage, has already taken in 250 to 300 children made parentless by the war, its director Ayad al-Masri said. Before the conflict began there were about 120. The orphanage has just 31 rooms, but Masri says it will grow. – AFP (The Herald 29 Aug 2014) ONCE WHEN THE Sahaabah returned from the Batttlefield, Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: "We have returned from Jihaad Asghar (the lesser/smaller Jihad) to Jihaad Akbar (the greater Jihad)." The Sahaabah asked: "What is Jihad Akbar? Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: "The Jihad of the heart." Narrating a Hadith, Hadhrat Jaabir (radhiyallahu anhu) said: "A group of Mujahideen came to Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam). He said: "Welcome from Jihad Asghar to Jihad Akbar." They asked: "What is Jihad Akbar?" Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: "A man's mujaahadah (struggle/ jihad) against his desires." In another Hadith, Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) aid: The Mujahid is he who wages jihad against his nafs (bestial/carnal desires) for the sake of Allah." Similar other narrations are: "The no- blest Jihad is that a man wages jihad against his nafs for the sake of Allah." "Your actual enemy is not the one who kills you thereby causing you to enter Jannat. Verily, his killing you is Noor for you. But, your worst enemy is your nafs in your body, and your wife with whom you sleep." Hadhrat Sufyaan Thauri (rahmatullah alayh) said: "Verily, your enemy is your nafs within yourself. Therefore fight your desires more than fighting your (human) enemy. Hadhrat Uwais Qarni (rahmatullah alayh) said: "Supplicate to Allah that He reforms your heart and your intention, for verily you have not treated anything worse than these two." Hadhrat Ali (radhiyallahu anhu) said: "The first entity which you will miss out from your Deen is the jihad against your nafs." Hadhrat Abdullah Ibn Mas'ood (radhiyallahu anhu) narrated that Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: "Most of the Shuhada (Martyrs) of my Ummah will be the People of Beds. Allah is aware of the intention of numerous of those killed between the ranks (in the Battlefield)." The People of the Beds are those with purified hearts. They are men of Taqwa and Thikrullaah to whom Allah Ta'ala will bestow the ranks of Shahaadat. Many will be the mujahideen who will not attain such ranks on account of the corruption of their in- tentions. Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: "A powerful man is not one who defeats (another man in combat). Verily, a powerful man is he who controls his nafs at the time of anger." On the occasion when Hadhrat Umar (radhiyallahu anhu) took possession of the City of Jerusalem, in a Khutbah to the Mujahideen he said: "Reform your souls, then your outward life will become reformed. Practise (deeds of virtue) for your Aakhirat, then it will suffice for your worldly affairs." The narrations proclaiming the merits and imperative importance of Islaah of the Nafs are numerous, and have been narrated from the era of the Salafi Saaliheen (the Sahaabah, etc.) by all the great Ulama and Auliya. The Salafis of this age refute the validity of these narrations. In so doing they merely display their ignorance. The evidences in substantiation of the Jihad Akbar concept are too numerous for intelligent men to deny. Only morons seek to dismiss these narrations. As long as the Mujahideen have not accomplished the Greater Jihad, they will not succeed on the Battlefield of the Lesser Jihad. The greatest enemy is the nafs. The conspiracies of this nafsaani enemy are too conspicuous to dismiss. The evils of the nafs have ruined the Mujahideen. Instead of waging genuine Jihad against the kuffaar, their focus has been removed from the objective. They are embroiled in a satanic 'jihad' against their own brother Mujahideen. Q. What is the Shar'i status of Muslim governments which do not govern according to the Shariah? A. A Muslim king, ruler/ government who rules according to kuffaar law thus rejecting the Shariah becomes murtad. Rejection of the Shariah is kufr. All those who help a kaafir/murtad ruler to implement antiIslam laws are also kaafir. Q. Here in Germany, there was a well-known group led by a man named Cameleddin Kaplam who had declared himself 'Ameerul Mu'mineen'. He issued a fatwa in about 1980 declaring: 1. Those who sit in parliament, involving themselves in democratic government, are mushriks. 2. Those who vote in democratic elections are mushriks. 3. Those who do not accept the mushrikness of voters, are mushriks themselves. Please comment A. Voting is not an Islamic system of appointing rulers. It is a kuffaar sys- tem. Nevertheless, it is not kufr to employ this method when there is a need. There does sometimes arise a dire need for acquiring methods of the kuffaar to achieve an Islamic objective. For example, if the army of a Muslim country is Deeni conscious and desires to establish the Shariah as the law of the land, then it will be Wajib (compulsory) for the army to stage a coup and appoint a pious ruler to rule the land according to the Shariah. Similarly, if a genuinely Islamic political party utilizes the system of voting to gain power in a Muslim country, then it will be incumbent to do so in order to establish the Law of the Shariah. Once they have grabbed the reigns of power, then it will be incumbent to operate only Islamic systems of appointing leaders. Those who claim that the commission of a sin is kufr, are morons. The belief that a sin is not sinful is kufr. Furthermore, voting is a method of securing legitimate power in a situation where no other method/system is available. In such a scenario it will become necessary to employ even kuffaar methods to bring about the domination of the Shariah. When the mushrikeen of Makkah had intended to attack Madinah, Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) accepted the advice of Hadhrat Salmaan Faarsi (radhiyallahu anhu) to adopt the kuffaar (Persian) method of digging a trench around Madinah to block the kuffaar attack. Despite this method being hitherto unknown to the Arabs and being a kuffaar method, Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) adopted it. What is kufr, is to intentionally displace the Islamic system of government and replace it with a kuffaar system as is the current position in every Muslim country where all the rulers are kuffaar of the murtad category because they have cancelled the Shariah willingly. It is laughable for a man to declare himself Ameerul Mu'mineen when he is at the mercy of the kuffaar – when he has no country to rule. Only a moron does something so silly. That is why former Mujahideen are capable of killing their Brother Mujahideen – AlHaq) "By Him (Allah) are the keys of the Ghaib (unseen and unknown). No one is aware of it, but He. And He knows whatever is in the land and in the ocean. And not a leaf drops (from a tree) but He is aware of it. There is neither a seed in the darkness of the earth nor anything moist or dry, but it is (recorded) in a clear kitaab (Book)." (Al-An'aam, Aayat 59) Even the change of direction of a leaf in a breeze is the effect of Allah's command and direct intervention. Nothing – nothing – absolutely nothing happens in creation except by Allah's command. This principle is a fundamental doctrine integral to our Imaan. Allah Azza Wa Jal, in the Qur'aan Hakeem, warning Bani Israaeel (the Muslim Ummah of that era) of His stern and severe punishment, says: "And We informed Bani Israaeel in the Kitaab (by way of prediction) that, most certainly you will spread anarchy on earth twice and you will commit great oppression. Thus, when the first of the two promises (of punish- ment) will occur, We shall send against you (Bani Israaeel) such of Our servants (kuffaar) who are power- ful (and brutal) in war. Then they will Penetrate (your) homes. And it (the promise of punishment) is a Promise which was fulfilled. Then when the second decree will occur (We shall send the enemy against you) so that they (the kuffaar enemy) could disfigure your faces and enter the Musjid (i.e. Musjid Aqsa, defiling it) just as they had entered it the first time, and so that they utterly destroy whatever they overrun." (Bani Israaeel 4 – 7) Among the armies of Allah Azza Wa Jal are also the kuffaar whom He harnesses into His Scheme to execute His decree of Athaab (Punishment) for an immorally rebellious Muslim Ummah who takes delight in gross sin, transgression, fisq, fujoor and kufr which Muslims flagrantly and shamelessly perpetrate. The evidence for this is explicitly mentioned in the aforementioned Aayat of Surah Bani Israaeel in which Allah Ta'ala describes the kuffaar enemy who destroyed Musjidul Aqsa and enslaved Bani Israaeel as Ibaadal lana (Our servants). Thus, the heart-rending enactment unfolding today in Palestine comes within the scope of these Qur'aanic Aayaat. Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) had sounded numerous warnings of this type of disaster overtaking the Ummah in future eras. The sad and lamentable upheavals, the misery, anarchy and humiliation at the boots of the kuffaar, which are being enacted in the Muslim World are depicted in the aforementioned Verses of Bani Israaeel. This is the reality – Allah's Athaab – which the suffering Ummah stupidly refuses to acknowledge, hence Muslims neither understand their diseases nor are they able to find solutions and remedies for the afflictions of destruction and kuffaar domination. The entrenchment in the hearts of Muslims of the diseases of transgression and rebellion against Allah's Law has so much disfigured and mutilated their hearts and intelligence that they are constrained to adopt haraam and immoral kuffaar methods which they stupidly and satanically believe are part of some hallucinated solution whispered by Shaitaan. These haraam, immoral zina protest marches in which morons, fussaaq and fujjaar participate and in which they display their clownish prancing, dancing, singing and howling, only serve to attract greater Divine Wrath and Curse. The situation has degenerated to such an immoral gutter level that nowadays we find even Muslim women – faajiraat and zaaniyaat – frolicking together with kuffaar, fussaaq and fujjaar males in the streets, and believing that they are aiding the Palestinian brethren. These immoral morons – males, females and the munaafiq reverend of the NNB Jamiat masquerading as a Muslim and a Molvi march along the path leading to Jahannam labouring under the mammoth misconception of offering solidarity and aid to the brutalized Palestinian brethren. Participants in these haraam protest gatherings who claim to be Muslims, are in fact the worst scum, scoundrels and rubbishes which corrupt and humiliate the Ummah. Allah Ta'ala has bestowed to Mus- lims sound Aql (Intelligence) for guidance. However, this bounty of Aql can operate correctly only if it is not deranged with fisq, fujoor and kufr. Even laymen, lacking in higher Islamic knowledge, are aghast at the public zina antics of the faajiraat and zaaniyaat led on to Hell by the Reverend Bham who is indeed among the Shayaateenul Ins (Human Devils). The only solution for Muslims is Inaabat Ilallaah – to turn in repentance to Allah Ta'ala. Remorse, regret, seeking forgiveness and pledging obedience are the only prescription and solution for the problems and diseases besetting the Ummah. Iblees has erected an almost impenetrable barrier between the Ummah and Inaabat Ilallaah. Allah Ta'ala warns in the Qur'aan Hakeem: "Turn to Allah in repentance and sub- mit to Him before there comes to you an Athaab, then you will not be aided. And, follow that beautiful (Shariah) which has been revealed to you before there comes to you the Athaab suddenly and you will not even under- stand (what is happening to you)." (Az-Zumar, 54 – 55) Neither is Allah's Nusrat forthcoming nor do Muslims understand what is happening to them. The corrosion of the heart and the fossilization of the Aql have morally, spiritually and intellectually incapacitated Muslims, hence they are drowning in panic, misery and humiliation, lying prostrate at the boots of the kuffaar. As long as Muslim rebellion and transgression against Allah's Law continue, the Chastisement will continue unabated, and there shall be no solution. Those who are Muslim at heart – those who think like Muslims – those who understand that all these kuffaar methods in which the moron fussaaq, fujjaar, faajiraat and zaaniyaat indulge, are haraam and futile, have only one option, and that is silent Dua within the precincts of their homes, not even in the Musaajid. Exhibitions of Qunut--eNaazilah in the Musaajid defeat the very purpose of Dua. Nowadays, the method and manner of Qunoot-eNaazilah are another mockery of the Deen. Neither do the molvies and sheikhs understand what Qunoot-e- Naazilah is nor do they understand its method of performance. It has become an empty shell used by molvies and sheikhs for self-aggrandizement. Heartfelt Dua during the silent moments of the night is what we are able to offer. Whether the Duas are accepted or rejected, should not be our concern. We must accept that Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) has warned that when the Divine Axe of Athaab falls on the Ummah, the Duas of even the Auliya will go unanswered. Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said that when we, especially the Ulama, abandon the obligation of Amr Bil Ma'roofNahyAnilMunkar (Commanding virtue and prohibiting vice), then Allah Azza Wa Jal will appoint such brutal rulers over us who will show no mercy to our little ones nor respect to our elders. It will be only oppression, brutality and humiliation. And, that is precisely what is happening all over in the Muslim World today. However, judgment and punishment (Athaab) are Allah's prerogatives. No one can fathom Divine Wisdom. We are duty-bound to express our concern, grief and solidarity with our suffering brethren whoever they may be and wherever they may be, for Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: "Muslims are like one man. If the eye pains, the entire body is affected. If the head pains, the entire body is affected." So, regardless of how futile our supplications to Allah Ta'ala may be, and no matter how fruitless our tears of blood may be, we have to continue knocking at the Door of Allah Ta'ala pleading for His Nusrat. We must plead silently to Allah Ta'ala with our eyes and hearts. Prancing in the streets like kuffaar and exhibiting ourselves like baboons are not the ways of Imaan. These are the ways of kufr. They are apt for reverends and pundits. Allah Ta'ala tells and asks us: "If Allah helps you, there will be none to conquer you. And, If He withholds His aid from you, then who is there besides Him to help you?" On Allah, should the Mu'mineen have trust." (Aal-e-Imraan, aayat 16) THE ILLUSTRIOUS Khalifah of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam), Ameerul Mu'mineen Umar Ibn Khattaab (radhiyallahu anhu) was urged by Hadhrat Abu Ubaidah Bin Jarraah (radhiyallahu anhu), the Commander-in-Chief of the Muslim army which had laid siege to the City of Jerusalem, to come personally for taking possession of Baitul Maqdis. The Christian rulers had stipulated the presence of Hadhrat Umar (radhiyallahu anhu) for handing over the City without battle. The description of Hadhrat Umar (radhiyallahu anhu) was given in detail in the Tauraah. Therefore they wanted to physically ascertain if the Ruler of the Muslims was the person mentioned in the Tauraah. Ameerul Mu'mineen set out with only a camel and one slave. There was no retinue, no bodyguards, no servants and no noblemen to accompany this great Ruler of the Islamic Empire stretching from the shores of the Atlantic in the west to the walls of China in the east. He set out like a pauper, not like an emperor. His justice, kindness and Taqwa constrained him to be on equal terms with the slave accompanying him. The slave would lead the camel for a distance (e.g. 5 km) while Hadhrat Umar would be seated on the camel. The next five kilometres would be the turn of the slave to sit on the camel while Ameerul Mu'mineen would lead the camel. In this manner they alternated their walking and riding. When ultimately they reached Baitul Maqdis, the slave was riding on top of the camel, and Umar, The Great was walking holding the leash of the camel The army with its four commanders under the Flag of Hadhrat Ubaidah Bin Jarraah (radhiyallahu anhu) had come to a place called Jaabiyah to welcome Ameerul Mu'mineem. All the inhabitants came out of their homes to see and welcome Hadhrat Umar (radhiyallahu anhu). When Ameerul Mu'mineen reached Jaabiyah, he delivered an inspiring khutbah (lecture) to the crowds and the army. The following are just a few extracts from his Khutbah: "O People! Most certainly, we (the Arabs) were the most contemptible nation. Then Allah honoured us (gave us respect) with Islam. Whenever we shall search for honour with anything other than the Object by which Allah gave us honour (i.e. Islam), verily, Allah will then disgrace us. …… Reform your souls, then your bodies (actions) will be reformed. Do deeds for your Aakhirah, it will then suffice for your worldly needs. Whoever intends to take the path to Jannat should incumbently follow the Jama'ah (Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jama'ah), for verily, shaitaan is with the solitary man……… Never be alone with a woman, for verily, shaitaan is the third one present. He whose good deeds make him happy, and his sins grieve him, verily he is a Mu'min…" Having an aversion for publicity and being honoured, Hadhrat Umar (radhiyallahu anhu) ordered the army to disperse. Then he walked ahead alone with utmost humility. When the leadership (the army commanders, etc.) approached him, Ameerul Mu'mineen commanded: "Disperse from me. Where is my Brother, Ubaidah Aamir Bin Jarraah? From behind, the Commander-in-Chief stepped forward. These two great stalwarts of Islam embraced. There was prolonged sobbing of the two without saying a word. Then Hadhrat Umar said: "O Abu Ubaidah! When Allah Ta'ala will, on the Day of Qiyaamah, ask us what we had done after the departure of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam), what answer shall we have? Hadhrat Abu Ubaidah said: "O Ameerul Mu'mineen! Let us go to one side (away from the crowds) and cry." Both went to a distance and sat under a tree, sobbing out their hearts. The army, the people and the Nasaara rulers and noblemen, all looked on with astonishment and awe. They wondered: What type of souls were these? Despite having conquered the world and ruling it, they lived and acted like mendicants – in fact, that was the reality. They were mendicants on the Journey to Aakhirat. These were our Aslaaf – our noble and great Predecessors from whom we have inherited the Sunnah of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam). THE EVIL FOR WHICH CAME ALLAH'S ATHAAB 'Arab idol' a mirror of the fisq and fujoor – of the immorality – which has ruined the Ummah. With brains jammed on immorali- ty and vice, there seems no hope for this fallen, humiliated and rav- aged Ummah. The Islaah (reformation) of this Ummah now appears will be achieved by only Imaam Mahdi (alayhis salaam). In the explaining the background of the internecine fighting and killing of the foreign Mujahideen in Sham (Syria), these senior Mujahid commanders highlighted the arrogance, rudeness and pride of the Mujaahideen in general, and in particular of those who constitute the leadership of ISIS. They commit spiritual cannibalism by killing and devouring their own brother Mujahideen for some unknown sinister agenda. They (the ISIS group of fighters) are not prepared to reconcile with their own brother Mujahideen. They murder their own kind in cold blood. They murdered Al-Hadrami for no valid reason. They branded him a murtad simply because he was accepting into his fold FSA soldiers. Those FSA (Free Syrian Army) soldiers who gave allegiance were on the path of reformation, hence they came over to the Deeni side. Despite this, the ISIS leadership branded Al-Hadrami a murtad for accepting within his fold these FSA soldiers. Undoubtedly, the FSA is an evil, anti-Islam force. But many among them realized the error and resolved to join the Mujahideen of Islam. ISIS most intransigently refused to understand this fact. Bringing deviated people into the fold is considered riddah (apostasy) by ISIS, hence killing Muslims is an insignificant act, like killing flies. Their pride based on intellectual density can be gauged from the flagraising episode. The flag of Jabhatun Nusra was raised purely to protect the soldiers of Ad-Daula. It was not a takeover of the base by Jabhatun Nusra. But, no amount of explanation could soothe their hurt pride. They were prepared for all their Mujaahideen at the base to be killed by the FSA rather than see the flag of a brother Mujahid group being raised. This is the degree of hasad (jealousy) and takabbur (pride) which has blinded their intellect. They were prepared for the kuffaar to overrun the base and kill their own Mujahideen. But they were not prepared to see the flag of a brother Mujahid group being raised as a ruse ……But all the same, it was small fry because there are 50,000 fighters in Syria, and they (ISIS) scored only about 2000. They even took those whom they had previously rejected. After they had managed to accumulate sufficient forces, in order to display their strength they went into Jabhatun Nusra's bases a few times, and disarmed some of them. One day, as Allah willed, I saw the fitnah first hand. This was a time when we were preparing for the operation against Baruda and Durin in Latkia. Baruda was attacked by ISIS with a group of about 150, and we attacked Durin with a group of Ansaar of the same number. Everything was almost ready. Our brothers were close to the targets for about 10 days, and waited to protect the Mujahideen, not as a takeover of the base. How can the Mujahideen ever achieve victory? How can they gain the Nusrat of Allah Ta'ala? By means of their own misdeeds they are serving the cause of the U.S., Israel and Assad. But, as they say: "We don't care!". May Allah Ta'ala grant them hidaayat. for the first time are speaking. In Chechnya there was also fitnah and discontentment. Often Maskhadov, Basayev and other Amirs argued with each other, and there was a time they almost came to blows. But, at least they were decent and worthy of debate and discussion. But here (in Sham) adults of advanced age make general reviews and resort to general gossip." "Shaykh Abu Firas (A Syrian), a prominent and an experienced Mujahid commander who had participated in the Jihad in Afghanistan retruned to Syria in 2013 when there was serious conflict between Jabhatun Nusra and Jama'atud Daula. He, with Shaykh Abu Khalid As -Suri, desperately tried to address the issues of conflict. However, his efforts failed due to the arrogance of Jama'atud Daula. He eventually joined the ranks of Tanzeem Qaidatul Jihad's representative in Sham, Jabhatum Nusra, where he is today. He says: "All Praise is due to Allah and may the Peace and Blessings of Allah be on our Nabi, the Ambiya and upon his Household and his Sahaabah. I never planned to speak about AdDaula and the crimes they have committed against the Islamic Ummah, and against Islam, until after the speech of Al-Adnani, which was replete with awful transgressions. I shall comment on two issues: firstly, the threat against Abu Khalid as-Suri, and secondly, AdDaula making takfeer of persons even on the basis of their virtuous deeds. Takfeer of Abu Khalid as-Suri In this very place I met Shaykh Abu Khalid (rahimahullaah) hours before he was martyred. He said to me: "They (of Ad-Daula) have placed me on their blacklist, and they want to assassinate me." I smiled and said: "Life is in the Hand of Allah. The time of your Death has already been decreed." He replied: And you be careful because you too are a target." I simply said: "We don't care. Our lives are in the Hand of Allah." But he disapproved of my nonchalance, and insisted that I be careful. He said that we are targets on the top of the list. I said to him: "Depend on Allah and take care of yourself,." He approved of my comment and said: "Many threats reached me from them (Ad-Daula). I don't say this based on suspicion. I received many threats on my life, and they warned me in this regard." Only after a few hours, on the very next day, I was informed of his martyrdom. May Allah be merciful to him. Takfeer because of virtuous deeds From the very inception of the conflict between Ad-Daula and the other groups, we endeavoured to sort out the problems to reconcile them all. We went to Jamaatud Daula in this regard. In our very first meting, Abu Ali alAnbari said: "What do you want?" We said: "We propose three points as the solution: First: Cease fire. Stop fighting (with the Mujahideen). Second: Exchange of prisoners. Third: Establish Islamic Courts to decide all issues of conflict." Al-Anbaari rejected all three proposals. And this was in the presence of the committee of four from Jabhatun Nusra, namely, Abu Hasan Taftanasi, myself, Abu Hammaam ash-Shami and Abu Ubaidah at-Tunisi, the Shaari' in the military office of Jabhatun Nusra. Also present was Abu Abdullah from Al-Farouq, and Brother Mansoor from Ajnadul Aqsa, and Shaykh Abdullah al -Mohaisni. Abu Ali al-Anbari reprimanded us for reconciling with the murtaddeen (apostates). We said that we do not consider them to be murtaddeen. He responded: "This is a disagreement between you and us." He insisted that we should not act as mediators between them(Ad-Daula)andthe "murtaddeen" After a lengthy discussion he said: "Let me consult my superiors." He returned after an hour and a half, and said: "We shall tell you our decision in the morning." The next morning we went to him. He informed us that they had killed Abu Al-Hadrami, the Amir of Al-Raqqa from Jabhatun Nusra. We ignored this heinous act, and did not discuss it in order to keep the focus on reconciliation. Abu Al-Anbari asked to meet the members of Jabhatun Nusra alone. We went with him into another room. He said: "What did you do?" We said: "What?" He again said: "What are you doing? Don't you know what you are doing?" We said: "What did we do? You tell us." He said: "How dare you raise your flag over our base in Darit Azza?" We said: "We raised our flag over your residence in Darit Azza to protect your soldiers because the FSA was about to raid the base and imprison all your members or kill them. But the Amir of Jabhatun Nusra in that area entered and prevented the FSA from so doing. We sent the brothers (soldiers) of Jama'atud Daula safely to you with respect and good conduct." He said: "We don't accept this even if they (the soldiers of Ad-Daula) had all died. We don't need your mediation. Raising your flag over our base is not acceptable." We said: "They are your brothers. Are you prepared to sacrifice your soldiers for not hoisting a flag over your residence? We can now lower the flag, and you can send back your soldiers. The situation requires wisdom." He said: "We don't care. Either we eliminate them or they eliminate us." I said: "Ya Shaikh! The situation needs to be handled with wisdom. Is it wise to announce that you killed Abu Saa'ad Al -Hadrami, the Amir of Jabhatun Nusra in Al-Raqqa?" He said: We don't care. It's not important to us." I said: "Leave it aside whether it is important or unimportant to you. I am asking you – is it wise to announce that you killed him?" He said: "We don't care." Then brother Abu Ubaida At-Tunisi asked him: "Why did you kill him?" He said: "Because he is a murtad. He admitted that he is a murtad." Abu Ubaida responded: "What made you consider him a murtad?" He said: "He is taking Bay'ah from the FSA." I said: "Ya Aba Ali. Is taking Bay'ah from the FSA Riddah (apostasy)?" This act of Takfeer is not based on commission of sins whether major or minor. Takfeer was made on the basis of a righteous deed." I praise Allah, besides Whom there is no Lord worthy of worship but He, and may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon the one who was sent with the sword before The Hour, so Allah alone is worshiped and no partners ascribed to Him. You are aware, O Brothers, of what has happened and continues to take place in the field of As-shaam (Syria), the disagreements and infighting amongst theMujahideen, which has deeply saddened the hearts of those who support the Jihad and the Mujahideen. This state has kept awake [due to their worry] those who have concern over the Jihad and the Mujahideen and has also pleased the enemies of the Deen. Perhaps you know that we have exhausted our efforts to be involved in mediation, as have other noble people, scholars, and Mujahideen. You may also know that we communicated with those concerned in the dispute and the infighting, and amongst them was alBaghdadi. I advised him privately and advisedhisTandheemal- Dawlah publically. I also responded to some of the transgressions of their official spokesman, al-Adnani, as much as I was able to from prison, even though his transgressions and reckless talk do not deserve a response more than this. I also wrote to our beloved brother, the Sheikh, the Commander, the Mujahid Ayman al-Zawahiri (May Allah protect him), and I put him in the picture regarding my efforts to achieve a reconciliation initiative or adjudication between Tandheem AlDawlah and Jabhat al-Nusrah. I also informed him that I would authorize some of my closest students whom I trust, to implement this. Furthermore, they will satisfy the conditions stipulated by Tandheem Al-Dawlah, which they had previously rejected intransigently when they had refused the previous initiatives of adjudication. This is what I informed al-Baghdadi about, and brought to his attention that his refusal of these initiatives would place the burden on their shoulders in front of all the Mujahideen, and that they would reap the serious consequences of their actions. I have also been in communication with some of those in positions of religious authority in al-Dawlah, and I have documented evidence of these correspondences, which expose their fraud, their beating about the bush and their lies when dealing with the leaders of Jihad, as well as other traits which are not befitting for Mujahideen, who are supposed be the best people to fulfil justice and be witnesses for Allah and the truth, even if it were against themselves. You are aware that Tandheem alDawlah has spilled unlawful blood, and this is authenticated. They have also refused to comply with the commands of the leaders of the Mujahideen and their Mashayekh, as well as the initiatives and advice of their own leaders and scholars. This is well-known, noted and also authenticated. You are also aware that ghuluw (extremism) has deeply affected the ranks of some of them, even their religious officials. Some of them even openly admitted that within their ranks are Kharijities. You are aware that the likes of these people are forcefully dominating the Muslims in Syria, voicing their ideas publically, speaking in the name of Jihad and Mujahideen, while attiring themselves with the cloak of 'The Islamic State' and using its terminologies. They have sullied and will continue to sully the Jihad, the Mujahideen and the desired Islamic State. All of this will also create an alliance amongst the nations against the general masses of the Mujahideen, and it will also create the Sahawat. This is because deviation from the Shari'ah of Allah and from the guidance of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) culminates in ghuluw, and naming things by other than its names. Oppression and killing unlawfully will definitely bring evil fruits that are the same as this evil tree. You are aware that Tandheem alDawlah, their official spokesman, and their religious officials have been transgressing their limits against our leaders and Ulama. This is especially true with our beloved brother Sheikh Ayman alZawahiri. When they disobeyed him and rejected him, and the Mujahideen testified against their claims that they do not have a binding ba'yah to him (Sheikh Ayman), they began to justify their sin and their transgression against the Mujahideen, as well as their rebellion against their leaders and their rejection of the advices of their leaders, under the guise that al-Qaeda has deviated from the path of Jihad. They also justified their claims by picking holes in the statements of the leaders, which in reality are free from Islamic errors. As a result of the words of their leaders, their criticism and prejudice are an indication of their ill-understanding and false goals. All of this is done in order to justify their sins, their repudiation and their splitting of the ranks of the Mujahideen. These justifications prove their superficiality, shallow thinking, their superficial fiqh, their inclination towards ghuluw and their gross exaggeration of matters. I heard the most recent statement of al-Adnani, which is a sample of this mentioned trait. It is also a sample of many other attributes which are replete in their statements in which they clearly reject to submit to the adjudication instructed by the Commander, Sheikh al-Zawahiri. The adjudication was the core of our initiative which I wrote to Sheikh Ayman and to them [Tandheem al-Dawlah]. Their categorical refusal of which all people are aware, shut every door that was open for reconciliation, Thus, adjudication was no longer an option, leaving no room for anyone else to talk. Henceforth, there is no longer benefit in procrastination. In the wake of procrastination will be abandonment of Amr bil Ma'roof Nahy Anil Munkar! It therefore devolved as an incumbent obligation upon us, and upon all of the Ulama of Jihad and the leaders of Jihad all over the world to proclaim the Truth, to join the ranks of the people of Truth and to declare who is the the group of aggressors who have refused the adjudication -- the group (ISIS) who has disobeyed the orders of their leaders and senior Ulama. Based on this, I announce, here, that Tandheem al-Dawlah fil-'Iraq wal-Shaam, is a deviant organisation having deviated from the path of Truth. They are aggressors against the Mujahideen. Their leanings are towards ghuluw. They have become embroiled in spilling of unlawful blood, the plunder of wealth, war booty, and the regions which they have liberated from the Asaad regime. This group has besmirched the name of Jihad and the elite Mujahideen. They have turned their rifles from the apostates and those at war with the Muslims to the Mujahideen and the Muslimeen. I also call upon all Mujahideen to adopt this statement as their official stance, and publically align with it, thereby giving victory to the truth and its people. I also call upon the members of Tandheem al-Dawlah to join the ranks of Jabhat al-Nusrah, giving bay'ah to its leaders. This is our fatwa to them. This is what I exhort and encourage them to do and this what I choose for them. I also call upon all Islamic Jihadi websites, and others who are concerned with the affairs of the Muslims and their Jihad, to spread this statement and give victory to it and to refrain from publishing Tandheem al-Dawlah's media releases. By this statement the Islamic pretext of this rebellious organization is exposed. It is dissociation and disavowal from its extremism and it's spilling of unlawful blood, which has distorted and sullied the name of Jihad and the Mujahideen. This miscreant group (ISIS) has been misguided from the path of Allah due to its deviation, its aggression and its refusal to submit to the Ruling of Allah Azza Wa Jal. I was compelled to adopt this stance only after we had forwarded advice to him [al-Baghdadi] and corresponded with his commanders and religious officials in secret and in public, and because of their deviation and their rejection of arbitration and their refusal of all initiatives. This was also after his complete disregard of the calls of his leaders, Ulama of Jihad and his rejection to submit to arbitration. Thus he becamemumtani'(denier)of the Shari'ah and refused to return the rights of the people to them, just as he refused before to obey his leaders. It then became incumbent upon us to proclaim the truth after exhausting all efforts to return him back to the correct path. But, alas, he refused and those commanders with him, and the religious officials they all assisted him in this deviation, – to adhere to their deviation. It also became incumbent upon the people of Jihad to warn against him, and to call the Mujahideen to dissociate from him and join the ranks of the people of truth and Jihad, the truthful and pious to consolidate and unify the ranks of the Mujahideen. Indeed, Allah loves those who fight in His cause in a row as though they are a solid single structure. We supplicate to Allah, the Most High, to unify the ranks of the Mujahideen upon the command of the most pious men amongst them and that He raises the flag of Tawheed and tumbles the flag of shirk and falsehood. May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon His Rasool (sallallahu alayhi wasallam). Abu Muhammad al-Maqdisey "Fasaad (anarchy/corruption/mischief) has appeared on the land and the ocean because of the perpetration of the hands of people, so that He (Allah) gives them to taste (the consequences) of some of their (mis) deeds, for perhaps they (the Muslimeen) will return (to the Deen in obedi- ence)." (Ar-Room, Aayat 41) Iraq and Syria, like all other Muslim countries, are lands of anarchy, mischief, vice and immorality. There is no strata of Muslim society free from the "fasaad" stated in the aforementioned Qur'aanic aayat. While the worst perpetrators of fitnah, fasaad, dhalaal, bid'ah, fisq and fujoor are the Ulama of this era, – the Ulama-e-Soo' – who have destroyed the Ummah, the fitnah and fasaad are a common thread running through all Deeni institutions of this age. The fitnah of moral corruption and bid'ah has overtaken and ruined the Madaaris, the Khaanqahs, the Tabligh Jamaat, the Jamiatul Ulama outfits, and just about every Deeni organ. However, this discussion deals specifically with the fitnah and fasaad of the Mujaahideen. Wherever they may be waging Jihad, they unleash a flood of fitnah which culminates in mutual killings to the glee and advantage of the enemies whom they are supposed to fight. The intentions of the vast majority of the Mujahideen in Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine, Kashmir, Chechnya, etc., are undoubtedly sincere. They have taken the Pathway in the quest for the Pleasure of Allah Ta'ala. Insha-Allah, for their sincerity they will be munificently rewarded in the Aakhirah. But, success and victory in the Battlefield are not reliant on only sincerity of intention. Sincerity is the basis, the foundation on which to raise a structure – a Fort – which will be the bulwark against the kuffaar, shaitaan and the inordinate demands and dictates of the bestial nafs of Insaan – the nafs which is man's greatest enemy. The structure which has to be incumbently raised on the foundation of Ikhlaas (Sincerity) is Islaah of the Nafs – moral reformation and spiritual elevation. Without this Structure there is only humiliation, defeat and misery. And this is exactly the scenario in every land where fighting takes place in the name of Jihad. The Palestinians and the Kashmiris are waging their respective 'jihad' campaigns for almost 70 years. But today they are weaker – morally, spiritually, politically and materially than what they were decades ago when they initiated their jihad. They are morally and spiritually degenerate, corrupt and rotten to the core, hence they come squarely within the purview of the aforementioned Qur'aanic aayat. The fasaad in their lands is the consequence of their own evil. Senior, sincere Mujahideen commanders testify to the lamentable state of moral corruption in the ranks of the Mujahideen. They have highlighted the arrogance, pride and envy prevailing among the Mujahideen in general. Since these Mujahideen have not undergone training in Jihad-e-Akbar (the Greater Jihad) which is the Jihad against the Nafs (moral reformation to achieve spiritual elevation), they fail hopelessly in the Battlefied of the lesser Jihad, that is, the physical fight against the kuffaar enemy. A morally corrupt nafs, shorn of the attributes of moral excellence, is envious of the success of others. Thus, we find that the ISIS group of Mujahideen cannot tolerate the successes of the Jabhatun Nusra Mujaahideen outfit. Such envy gives rise to blind anger which overshadows the intellect. Then instead of concentrating on the fight against the kuffaar enemy, the guns are turned on Brother Mujahideen. Although they recite the Qur'aan Majeed and the same Kalimah, their envy and anger develop into arrogance and pride, rendering them blind to the Aayat: "He who kills a Mu'min intentionally, his punishment is Jahannam wherein he shall dwell forever, and Allah becomes wrathful on him, curses him and prepares for him a great punishment." (An -Nisaa', Aayat 93) In their frenzy of malice and arrogance 'mujahideen' of the ilk of ISIS have killed hundreds of Mujahideen in Iraq and Syria, and the vile, corrupt, satanic conflagration continues unabated. The filth of the nafs does not allow them to consolidate with the other Mujahid groups to present a solid front to the kuffaar against whom they are pitted. Driven by envy, malice and pride, they opt for rather self-immolation and destroying the objective for which they have embarked on the venture Fi Sabeelillaah. Moral corruption does not permit them to even heed what Allah Ta'ala says in the Qur'aan: "Verily Allah loves those who wage Qitaal (Jihad) in His Path in (united, firm) ranks as if they are a solid wall of steel." (As-Saff, Aayat 4) The intensity of the hatred in the ranks of the Mujahideen constrains a stronger group to disarm a lesser group of Mujahideen without the slightest regard for their safety. In fact, the malicious objective of the disarming is the elimination of the disarmed Mujahideen at the hands of the kuffaar. Thus, ISIS considered it compatible with its nafsaani jihad policy to disarm several smaller bases of Jabhatun Nusra. This very same scenario prevails in Kashmir. The Pakistani Mujahideen groups too are arrayed against each other. The one group is envious of the success of another group. It was for this reason that on the eve of the defeat of the Russian forces in Afghanistan, the different groups of Mujahideen turned their guns on to themselves. In the aftermath of the internecine fighting, they killed substantially more Muslims – Mujahideen and civilians – than the total number killed by the Russians and its surrogate Afghan army during the more than a decade of war. Besides the traitors who infiltrate and foster the plots of the U.S. and other kuffaar, causing considerable strife in the ranks of the Mujahideen, the greatest enemies of the sincere Mujahideen are their own corrupt nufoos which have not been purified from the pollution of bestial and carnal attributes. As for the plots of the kuffaar, Allah Ta'ala suffices. The Qur'aan Majeed assures the Muttaqeen (morally purified Muslims): "If they plot to deceive you, then verily, Allah suffices for you (O Muhammad). It is He Who reinforces you with His Aid and with the Mu'mineen." (Al-Anfaal, Aayat 63) "If you have Sabr and Taqwa, then their plot will not harm you in any way whatsoever." (Aal-Imraan, Aayat 144) Thus, the real enemy in Jihad is not the kuffaar. The most dangerous enemy is the kaafir nafs within the Mujahid. As long as he has not killed this enemy within him, he will remain the slave of the nafs which will dominate and steer the direction of the Jihad in the Battlefield. The horror of Mujahideen killing Mujahideen and Mujahideen betraying Mujahideen to the common kuffaar foe is absolutely appalling and lamentable. There is therefore no barkat in the Jihad campaigns nor such Divine Aid which is imperative for defeating the kuffaar. "If Allah aids you, He will plant your feet firmly (against the enemy). But if He withholds His Aid from you, then who is there besides Him to aid you?" (Qur'aan) A Concerned Brother, in defence of ISIS, writes: ! " # ( # ) * # # + # – 9 #; " # " < the western dajjaali media. (2) Also, nothing of our view is based on 'sufi hate' for ISIS on account of the latter's destruction of the shrines of bid'ah and shirk. What do you see in our view which could be associated with 'sufi hate' influence? The bid'ati so-called sufis hate ISIS on account of their shrines. Others condemn ISIS for other reasons. (3) The Mujahideen of whom the ISIS personnel was an integral constituent, condemn ISIS not because of the 'sufi hate' element, nor because of the dajjaali media. The case of the Mujahideen has been elaborately presented by the Shaikhs and Ulama associated with the Mujahideen. They are the Ulama under whose guidance even Abu Bakr Baghdadi had operated. (4) We do not know to which "molvis" you are referring. Our view is not based on any view expressed by any ISIS hating molvi. (5) If the Taliban did in fact say that ISIS is "too harsh" because of their shrine-breaking, we are not aware of it. Further, the Taliban's view is unrelated to our view. We do not base our view on the Taliban's view. (6) Your observation: "I don't understand why are ISIS being criticized for upholding tauheed.",betrays irrational bias. Who has criticized ISIS for upholding Tauheed? Were it the Mujahideen in Iraq and Syria or the Taliban or Al-Haq? If a Muslim criticizes Tauheed, does he remain a Muslim? In the lengthy statements issued by the Mujahideen Ulama is there a single criticism of ISIS for upholding Tauheed? Brother, one is required to reflect before making emotional comments. Even the bid'ati 'sufis' do no criticize ISIS for Tauheed. They criticize ISIS for destroying their shrines which in their religion are not in conflict with Tauheed. If the bid'ati criticism of ISIS is accepted as criticism of Tauheed, by what stretch of logic and justice can you claim that the Mujahideen Ulama who are currently criticizing ISIS do so on account of ISIS upholding Tauheed? (7) The issue of Jizyah is not the fundamental basis on which criticism of ISIS is based. It is a Juzwi (a particular) issue. It is not because of the Jizyah mas'alah that the ranks of the Mujahideen have been so severely ruptured by ISIS. (8) ISIS is criticized and ISIS is plodding the path of dhalaal (deviation) for having broken ranks with the Mujahideen with whom they were associated. Abu Bakr Baghdadi has become a Baaghi (treacherous rebel) against the authority of his Amir. ISIS has not offered a single valid Shar'i basis for breaking ranks in flagrant violation of the Qur'aan and Hadith which command solidifying the ranks. The unity of the Mujahideen has been severely ruptured by ISIS without any valid Shar'i grounds. A difference in methodology does not permit breaking of the ranks, disunity and defying the Amir. The Amir may be disobeyed only if his commands are in violation of the Shariah. ISIS has not presented any such argument in its defence nor has any of its supporters. (9) ISIS is directly responsible for the severe infighting among the Mujahideen and for the killing of innumerable Mujahideen, and also for the killing of Mujahid commanders. In so doing, ISIS has been surreptitiously fostering the U.S. conspiracy. Did ISIS take to the Jihad field to kill Mujahideen? (10) Whilst hitherto Jabhatun Nusra and other Jihad groups have explained their position, ISIS has not presented any valid Shar'i justification for its treacherous rebellion against the Amir. The breaking of shrines and the imposition of Jizyah (if the information is correct) are mere red herrings to justify the baghaawat (treachery) of ISIS. What are the grounds for justifying the act of breaking away from the Mujahideen, rebelling against the Amir and killing brother Mujahideen? (11) The alleged good conduct of ISIS to the Yazidis does not justify the breaking of Mujahideen ranks by ISIS. It does not explain why ISIS perpetrated baghaawat towards its Amir. It is no compensation for killing Brother Mujahideen. (12) While you have tried to favourably explain ISIS's handling of the Jizyah issue, you have overlooked the most important aspect, namely, breaking the ranks of the Mujahideen and rebelling against the command of his Amir, which culminated in the killing of numerous Mujahideen by ISIS. "O People of Imaan! When you meet the enemy, then be firm and remember Allah much so that you be victorious. And obey Allah and His Rasool, and do not dispute (among yourselves), for then (your hearts) will become weak, and your wind (power) will be depleted. And, have Sabr. Verily Allah is with the Saabireen." (Al-Anfaal, Aayats 45 and 46) "Verily, Allah loves those who fight in His Path in Ranks as if they are one solid steel wall." (As-Saff, Aayat 4) Once Khalifah Haaroon Ar-Rasheed asked Muhammad Battaal about any amazing event which had occurred to him in the land of the Romans. He narrated the following episode: "One day while I was walking in the fields I heard the hooves of a horse behind me. When I turned I saw a fully armed horse-rider. He approached me and greeted. I responded. He asked if I had seen a man who is called Battaal. I said that I am Battaal. He alighted from his horse, embraced me and kissed my feet. I asked him: "Why are you doing this?" He said: "I have come to be at your service." I made Dua for him. Suddenly four armed horsemen approached us. My companion asked: "Do you permit that I engage them in battle?" I said: "Yes." Then they clashed for an hour, and finally killed him. Then they advanced to attack me. I said to them: "If you desire to fight with me, then grant me respite to arm myself with the weapons of my slain companion and to mount his horse." They said: "You may do so." After I armed myself, I said to them: "You are four and I am one. This is unfair. Let one of you advance on me." Thus one of them stepped forward. We fought and I killed him. The second one came forward. We fought and I killed him too. Then came the third one. I killed him as well. O Ameerul Mu'mineen! The fourth one came and we fought fiercely until his spear and my spear broke. Then we dismounted from our horses. He took his sword and shield, and so did I. We fought fiercely. Then the hilts of my sword and his sword broke, and our swords fell to the ground. Then we wrestled. This continued until the even- ing, and the sun set. Neither did I defeat him nor did he defeat me. I said to him: "Today I have missed Salaat." He said: "The same with me." He was a bishop. I said to him: "Do you agree that we halt to perform our missed worship and rest for the night? In the morning we can resume our combat." He said: "So shall it be." Thus, I engaged in Allah's ibaadat while he also worshipped. In the morning we resumed our combat. I overpowered him and sat on his chest ready to kill him with my dagger. He pleaded: "Give me another chance." I agreed, and the fight resumed. My foot slipped and he overpowered me. He sat on my chest and intended to kill me. I said to him: "I had given you a chance. Will you not give me also a chance?" He said: "So it shall be." Then we wrestled for the third time. Again he overpowered me, and sat on my chest ready to kill me. I said to him: "One for one. Be magnanimous another time." He said: "Let it be so." We wrestled for the fourth time, and once again he overwhelmed me. Then he said: "Now I realize you are Battaal. I shall most certainly bring peace to the land of the Romans by eliminating you." I said: "Never! If my Rabb wills." He said: "Tell your god to save you from me." O Ameerul Mumineen! As he lifted his dagger to slaughter me, I beheld a wondrous scene. My slain companion stood up, lifted his sword and severed the head of the one on top of me. Then he (my slain companion) recited the Qur'aanic aayat: "Never think that those who are slain in the path of Allah are dead, in fact they are alive; by their Rabb they are nourished." (NA-PAKISTAN: Pakistan means "The Pure and Holy Land". However, for this failed state sinking incrementally into the dregs of immorality and vice – fisq, fujoor, bid'ah and kufr – the name, NAPAKISTAN --"The Impure and Immoral Land"-- is an apt designation.) A Concerned Brother describing the NAPAKISTAN scenario, has the following lament: "I was born, raised and educated in Pakistan and being fluent in Urdu I still keep myself abreast of the local developments. My father and my uncle left India heeding the call of Muhammad Ali Jinnah to assist in the construction of the young nation. My grandfather passed away in India some days later because both his sons had left for Pakistan. My family had been resident in India for hundreds of years and considered it home hence saw no reason to migrate. They considered entire India (homeland for Muslims) and not a small carved up patch of land thousands of miles from their ancestral village. Thousands sacrificed to gain Pakistan, and then thousands (still) sacrificed lives, properties, businesses, careers to build Pakistan. My father and uncle were already educated and working in 1947 and had no reason to come to Pakistan (financially or otherwise) except for Islam. There were thousands of young men like them! Without Islam and implementation of Sharia, Pakistan is a stupid futile concept! (And so has it been since its inception – Al Haq) It is inferior to India in every material and secular aspect, and it makes no logical sense to carve up (united) India, antagonise the Non-Muslims and leave the rest of Muslims (of India) to the mercy of Non -Muslims. Muslims of India have been made to defend the actions of (Muslims of Pakistan) since 1947! The tag "Ghaddar" (Traitor) hangs over them like a bad omen. When you disregard the foolish boastings of Pakistani Nationalists, it's a failed state! No matter how much pride we may take in our Nuclear weapons, we are bankrupt in almost every facet, aspect and spectrum of human development. (And, religiously more bankrupt –Al Haq) For the past 60 years we continue to pin our hopes on one leader after another and continue to see them as our Saviour, our Messiah and they are proven (again and again) for the Donkeys that they actually are! (It is an insult to donkeys to refer to the scoundrels with the title "Donkeys". The politicians were and are scoundrels of the worst order – robbers, crooks, murderers, debauchers plundering the wealth, morals and the Deen of the Land. And this is because the population is by the vast majority scoundrel. Hence they are the reflection of the people. Scoundrels for Scoundrels. It is an apt Divine Dispensation –Al Haq) Sometimes (in fact at all times – Al Haq) they have personal agendas while very often they are merely hired Donkeys of some other power. You can substitute "Imran Khan" for "Ayub Khan", "Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto", General Ziaul-Haq" or insert a name as you may…In a few years "Imran Khan" may be replaced with "Bilawal Bhutto" or someone else. Pakistan at its core is ROTTEN! It is rotten with corruption, nepotism, favouritism and elitism (and most importantly rotten with kufr and the Satanism of the Ulama-e-Soo' – Al Haq). No "Imran Khan" can save Pakistan. The cancer of Pakistan is hypocrisy (fisq, fujoor, nifaaq and kufr – Al Haq). Muslims of India turned to Allah (SWT) and asked for a homeland where they can live by Islam and then they forgot but Allah (SWT) doesn't forget! The religious leadership of Pakistan (many of whom I know personally) are ethically and morally bankrupt and when the masses see their character they turn away from them in disgust and in fact some turn away from Islam (and those who are supposedly religious, gleefully appoint the Ulama-eSoo' as their arbaab (gods) for the attainment of carnal gratification for which the haraam 'fatwas' provide religious cover and sanctity – Al Haq). You hear loud and long sermons from the pulpits but when it comes to dealings these religious leaders are no different to any other ordinary Pakistan who breaks his word, late for his duties and careless about his responsibilities and always looking to make a quick buck! (End of the Brother's lament) No one is heeding the Warnings of the Qur'aan and Hadith. Eyes will open only when the Impending Axe of Divine Chastisement falls. But then it will be too late. Instead of leading and guiding the masses with the Haqq of the deen, the Ulama today are the worst offenders in the sphere of misguidance. They come fully, fully within the glare of the following Hadith. Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: "Soon shall there dawn an age when nothing will remain of Islam but its name. Nothing will remain of the Qur'aan but its text. The Musaajid will be beautifully adorned structures, but bereft of guidance. The worst of the people under the canopy of the sky will be their Ulama. From them (these Ulama-e-Soo') will flow fitnah, and the fitnah will rebound on them (ultimately destroying them and despatching them to hell-Fire)" (Rasulullah – sallallahu alayhi wasallam) Labouring under the colossal misconception of the so-called 'Arab Spring' being the panacea for our ills, suffering and humiliation, Muslims have discovered that the elimination of Mubarak, Qadhaafi, Musharraf and others of similar ilk, rather than ushering in a breeze of comfort and prosperity, has only magnified the miseries of the Ummah. At least during the reign of Mubaarak, almost all the Gaza tunnels were in operation. The masses in general, were better off in his time than today under the butcher, Sisi. The conflagration of general anarchy destroying Egypt and Libya, did not exist during Mubaarak's and Qadhaafi's reigns. There was general law and order. The oppression and brutality of these evil rulers were confined to their political foes. The same scenario of anarchy has substituted the law and order which had prevailed under Saddam Husain. Today their is total chaos in these countries after the tyrannical dictators were removed. The initial euphoria of 'freedom' and 'democracy' having ushered in on the ruins of dictatorship, has dissipated. There is now only anarchy, killing, banditry and general lawlessness. Instead of improvement, the misery of the people has worsened. The only purpose served by the public protests and demonstrations of the populations of these countries was to terminate the rule of the tyrants. It has brought no change for the good of the people. On the contrary, living conditions have deteriorated and the misery of the people has increased manifold. Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said that the deeds of the people are their rulers. Rulers mirror the condition of the population. A rotten people deserves a rotten ruler. A corrupt population should not expect benevolent rulers. Just as your deeds are, so will be your rulers, said Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam). The people had believed that Mubaarak, Qadhaafi, etc. were the root cause of their woes and misery. Since there is hardly any Islam left in Muslim people, they failed to understand that the tyrannical rulers were not the causes of the hardship and misery of the people. The rulers are really mirrors placed in position by Allah Ta'ala to enable the people to view their own deeds/ misdeeds, and to make amends. Since the people failed to examine themselves in these mirrors, they miserably failed to remedy the moral and spiritual maladies from which they were suffering. Thus, Allah Ta'ala utilized the self-same people of transgression to inflict greater punishment on them. Therefore Mubaarak, Qadhaafi & Co. Were removed to give the people a greater taste of misery and hardship. The solution for the misery of Muslims according to Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) is to remedy themselves with obedience to the Law of Allah Ta'ala. Only then will Allah Ta'ala grant us the blessing of benevolent and wise rulers.
