Respected Brother/Sister in Islãm, the answer to your query is as follows: Regarding the financial product referred to in the question, we do not possess sufficient detailed information regarding the dealings of the bank. Likewise, we do not have sufficient knowledge regarding the methods of ensuring Shari'ah-compliance used by the individuals whose names have been mentioned in the question. The dealings of the mentioned individuals do not have an association with the Iftā Department of Darul Uloom Zakariyya. Therefore, we are unable to issue any general fatwa of permissibility or Shari ah-compliance regarding the dealings of those individuals or the dealings of the bank. The bank's Shari'ah compliance should be ascribed to those individuals who serve in that position at the bank and one should abstain from attributing it to the Iftã Department of Darul Uloom Zakariyya. The Ifta Department of Darul Uloom Zakariyya has not issued any fatwã declaring any bank to be Sharĩ'ah- compliant. And Alläh 4o alone knows best.
