After Zuhr he delivered a short impromptu address, which was for 5-10 mins, which actually happened on the spur of the moment Subsequently messages have been circulating that the Madrasah has changed its stance on the issue of photography since the Aalim who gave the address is very popular on YouTube. In this regard the following should be noted: Firstly, the Madrasah has NOT changed its stance on all forms of photography of animate objects, including digital photography. In light of the many clear Ahadith that prohibit picture-making, all forms of picture-making and Secondly, the Principal of the Madrasah was not aware that the Aalim appears on YouTube and hence allowed the spur of the moment, impromptu address. The Madrasah wishes to reiterate its stance of clear prohibition of ALL photography of animate objects, including digital photography. Furthermore, Hazrat Mufti Ahmed Khanpuri Saheb (hafizahullah) has made several very clear statements and declarations on the issue (attached herewith). Hazrat also revokes the ljazah of Hadith of anyone who is involved in this action.
