Attending the Funeral of the Ithnā

6 June 2024 articles Page 1 of 2 ATTENDING THE FUNERAL OF THE ITHNĀ ‘ASHARĪ  19 Dhul-Qa’dah 1445 | 28 May 2024 The hardliner, Ebrahim Raisi, along with other Iranian government officials died miserably in a helicopter crash on 19 May 2024 at the age of 63. May Allāh  deal with him as he deserves. During his presidency, Ebrahim Raisi, had faithfully executed the directives of Ali Khamanei, the Ithnā ‘Asharī authority in Iran. He was also seen as a potential successor to Ali Khamanei. Raisi was closely linked to Khomeini, whose legacy is also blood stained and wretchedly filthy. Ebrahim Raisi’s legacy is one of violence, repression, and systematic human rights abuses. He has played an important role in supporting and backing the genocide of Muslims in Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Yemen, as well as financially backing Shia Militias that brutally massacred innocent Muslim men, women, and children in various parts of the Muslim world for decades. A closer look at reported statistics reveals that over 80000 Shia militias were brought by Iran from all over the Middle East to Syria. The terrible massacres committed by the Shia militia are on the hands of the Iranian leadership, including Raisi. Muslims were buried alive in Syria because they refused to say that Bashar Assad is God, Na’ūdhubillāh. Shia in Syria have bombed the graves of Sayyidunā Khālid bin Walīd  and ‘Umar bin ‘Abdul ‘Azīz , aside from the common Shia practice of throwing shoes on the grave of Sayyidunā Mu’āwiyah . In Iraq, innocent Muslim children were butchered by Shia militia simply because their names were Abū Bakr and ‘Umar. The description of the atrocities can go on and on, all showing the reality of the inhumane nature of the contemporary Ithnā ‘Ashariyyah and Rawāfid. All of this was done with the blessing and command of the Iranian leadership, including Raisi. In fact, there is so much blood – including that of Iranians - on the hands of Raisi that Iranians themselves were relieved at his death. Page 2 of 2 Aside from the major crimes against Muslims, Ebrahim Raisi was an Ithnā ‘Asharī Shia. The blasphemous beliefs of the Ithnā ‘Ashariyyah are well-known and countless ‘Ulamā’ have written books in refutation of them. The ‘Ulamā of the Ahl-us-Sunnah wal Jamā’ah have throughout the centuries consistently issued fatāwā highlighting the Kāfir position of the Ithnā ‘Ashariyyah Shia and Rawāfiḍ. Muslims can refer to the fatāwā of Imām Mālik , Imām Aḥmad bin Ḥanbal , Imām Bukhārī , Qāḍī ‘Iyāḍ , as well as that of the ‘Ulamā’ of Deoband as collated in Fatāwā Takfīr-ur-Rawāfiḍ. In the light of this, a Muslim cannot attend the funeral of an Ithnā ‘Asharī, perform Ṣalāh behind one, make du’ā’ for them, eat of their slaughtered animals, or marry amongst them. We, the undersigned, voice our great disappointment in the attendance of the Ṭālibān at the funeral customs held in Iran for Ebrahim Raisi. We strongly condemn this action, and the horrible stench it bears, aside from the negative repercussions and horrible ripple-effects it has. It will continue to haunt sincere Muslims of the Ahl-us-Sunnah wal Jamā’ah. The lesson taught by the founder of the Ṭālibān, Mullā Muḥammad ‘Umar , was to hold firmly to the truth, and promote it without compromise. The actions of the Ṭālibān in Iran has caused great harm to the cause of Islām and the oppressed Muslims of the world. The Ṭālibān have always been known to stand up for the Ḥaqq, whereas this action alone publicly announces friendship and allyship with the greatest enemies of Islām, Rasūlullāh , the Āl al-Bayt, and the Blessed Ṣaḥābah .
