THE KNB (THE KUFR NIKAH BILL)

THE STUPIDITY OF MR. SALEEM KHAN’S SORROWFUL LAMENT

Mr. M. Saleem Khan who happens to be a senior advocate of the kuffaar court, seeking to advertise his hallucinated piety by pitifully broadcasting the venue of the emanation of his stupid lament, viz. Makkah Mukarramah, has succeeded in only exhibiting his puerility which is the product of senility which in turn stems from slack attachment to the Deen.

While the subject of debate is the Kufr nikah bill of Mr.Ganief Hendricks, and the preposterously egregious and baseless claim of Hendricks pertaining to Shariah law having been accepted by the government, Mr. Saleem Khan conveniently and cunningly bypasses the topical issue to allow himself the luxurious indulgence of criticizing the methodology of The Majlis. By the employment of this redherring, Mr. Khan hopes that Muslims will be detracted from the fundamental objection raised by The Majlis against the twaddle disgorged by Mr. Hendricks, namely:

Shariah Law has been accepted by the government and henceforth the consequences of our Nikahs will be Shariah consequences.

We have taken Mr. Hendricks to task for having uttered this absolute trash and falsity. We have asked and we now demand that Mr. Hendricks with the support of his friend, Advocate Khan and other lawyers show the Muslim community when, where and how has Shariah Law become part and parcel of the Kufr law of the country.

It devolves on Mr. Hendricks to explain in detail to the Muslim community which Acts of law and which sections of such Acts substantiate his claim. He must spell out the Shariah consequences of Islamic marriages which he claims have become the Law. He must show which clauses in his ‘Muslim Marriages Bill’ are Shariah clauses.

Since both Mr. Hendricks and Mr. Saleem Khanare mute and unable to provide evidence for the utterly baseless claim, they considered it expedient to save face by diverging at a wide tangent from the subject under discussion in the hope of Muslims being detracted from the gaff and twaddle of Mr. Hendricks. Thus, the ruse of criticizing the tone and methodology of The Majlis was the only straw to clutch on. But Muslims, even those who are averse to our methodology, still desire to be informed if Shariah law has been accepted by the government. Is it a fact or a stupid fiction? Or is it a mere hallucination or a deliberate ploy to garner support for the KNB.

Very reluctantly and sheepishly, Mr. Khan states in his lamentable expression of grief:

“There is an obvious mistake in the statement of Mr. Hendricks…”

Now that Mr. Khan has with great reluctance conceded the mistake/gaff of Mr. Hendricks, it is only proper for him and Hendricks to state with clarity what this “mistake” is. No amount of ducking and diving, and divisive tactics will save the skin of Mr. Hendricks from the egregiously false statement he has made. The simple and honourable course for him is to acknowledge his error, and not to beat about the bush to sustain what he baselessly believes to be ‘honour’.
