A ‘GLORIOUS’ SHAITAANI FRACAS OF FISQ AND KUFR OF TWO MUNAAFIQ PARTIES
Many Muslims have requested us to comment on the shaitaaniyat which had been enacted by two Muslim groups which have resorted to fisticuffs, vulgar expletives, kicking and a free-for-all public fighting and horrible brawling. Both groups were fighting for control of a newly-constructed Musjid in De Deur.
The satanic exhibition by these two Munaafiq groups, from the worldly perspective, was indeed a ‘glorious’ spectacle for fun and pleasure. It was a most titillating fracas for the nafs. With the deluge of vulgar F & B expletives, hitting, kicking and cursing, all the participants come fully within the scope of the Hadith which mentions that among the signs of the Munaafiq is speaking of lies and utilization of filthy expletives when they argue.
Some brothers mention that the impression is being traded by one party of the satanism that the Musjid in question is under the supervision of The Majlis.
The facts pertaining to the shaitaaniyat are as follows:
(1) The fracas kindled by Iblees and executed by his friends – the two parties fighting for control of the Musjid – was an exhibition at a newly constructed Musjid in De Deur. This Musjid has no association with The Majlis nor with Madrasah Ashraful Uloom of De Deur. The idea of the Musjid being associated with The Majlis is a preposterous shaitaani canard.
(2) The founders, funders and builders of this Musjid were originally one party. This party split purely on the basis of filthy nafsaani objectives and became implacable foes prepared to kill their opponents as the ‘glorious shaitaani fracas’ confirms.
(3) It was a Musjid which was raised on the foundations of the Nafs. There was no need to build this Musjid in the backyard of the small rural town of De Deur, and that too on a backyard plot. In De Deur, where Madrasah Ashraful Uloom is situated, there is a large Musjid which is more than adequate for even the number of musallis attending on Jumuah. Most of the musallis are not even residents of De Deur.
Just around the corner is the suburb, Roshnee which has several Musjids. Around the backyard Musjid where the shaitaaniyat was enacted, there are no Musallis. Thus, this Musjid really serves no constructive Deeni purpose.
Allah Ta’ala has now brought to light this reality, that is, it is a Musjid raised on the basis of riya and takabbur and that it has no constructive Deeni agenda. From the moral angle, it could be classified as Musjid Dhiraar (Musjid of Harm) although from the technical import of the Shariah, the ahkaam of a Musjid will be applicable.
The shaitaaniyat perpetrated for control of the Musjid by the two evil groups is appallingly shocking and disgusting. Just imagine! Men who crave for gaining control of the Musjid disgorging F & B expletives at the top of their voices in public while hitting and kicking one another. These evil persons in terms of the Hadith are fussaaq and kuffaar. Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said:
“Swearing a Muslim is FISQ and fighting with him is KUFR.”
It is therefore imperative for the rotters to resort to Taubah and renewal of their Imaan. They are scandalously bereft of Imaan whilst they believe themselves to be Muslims qualified to act as trustees of a Musjid. The depth of degradation into which these depraved hooligans have sunk is pure shaitaaniyat.
The haraam shaitaani feud will persist regardless of which group is able to assert its haraam domination by means of satanic force. The Musjid will therefore always be overshadowed with Zulmat (spiritual darkness) which will deter sincere Muslims from performing Salaat in that Musjid.
The solution for the shaitaaniyat is that both groups, if they are still Muslim, should repent and withdraw. They should hand over the Musjid to others who are unrelated to either of the two parties. If they set aside their nafsaaniyat and follow this advice, then the Waaqifeen will still obtain the thawaab of the Musjid.
