Due to a dispute between ourselves and Muhtaram Mufti Ebrahim Desai on the issue of the construction of an astroturf project contemplated by the Empangeni Muslim Society, and also in general on the question of kuffaar sport, we had linked him to the fraternity of Ulama-e-Soo’
Thereafter, Muhtaram Mufti Ebrahim Desai had been in discussion with us. Alhamdulillah, the dispute has been Islamically and amicably resolved.
We, therefore, rescind our earlier view, and unhesitatingly say that Muhtaram Mufti Ebrahim Desai is a member of the ULAMA-E-HAQQ.
May Allah Ta’ala keep our Imaan and the Imaan of all Muslims intact until the very last moment when the Rooh has to traverse beyond the confines of this earthly threshold. Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said:
“Imaan is suspended between fear and hope.”
