What does the Shariah say about fishermen who fish with live bait?

Fishermen who use live bait, may be punished on the Day of Qiyaamah in the same way in Jahannum. The brutalized bait will become a huge beast and pierce sharp rods through the bodies of these cruel fishermen whose hearts are harder than stone. We say this on the basis of the Hadith in which it is mentioned that a woman who had tortured a cat will be cast into Jahannum, and the cat will become a huge beast and claw at her.
