Is it Sunnat for a male to wear a silver ring?

Answer

Whilst it is permissible for a male to wear a silver ring not more than 4.37 grams, it is discouraged. It is not a Sunnat for practicing. It is similar to the permissibility of females wearing jewellery. Whilst this is permissible for women, Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) nevertheless discouraged them from wearing jewellery, especially when it is excessive.
