Question
A Musjid was built with funds contributed by a gambler. What is the status of such a Musjid and of Salaat performed therein if all the money was haraam?
Answer
It is not permissible to perform Salaat in a Musjid built with haraam wealth such as money acquired from gambling or any other haraam act. However, the Musjid will be cordoned off and closed. It will remain a Musjid, but Salaat is not permissible therein
