Question
I teach little children Deenyaat. I write Allah's Name and Qur'aanic verses with chalk on the board. When I erase what is written, the chalk-dust obviously falls on to the ground. This agitates my conscience. Please advise.
Answer
Don't write the Names of Allah Ta'ala and Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) on the board with chalk. When these Names are erased, the dust will scatter on the ground. This is highly disrespectful. Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said that sin agitates the conscience.
