Question
According to the Hadith a man's Imaan departs from him whilst he indulges in fornication. Does this mean that he dies a kaafir?
Answer
It appears almost certain that if a man dies whilst indulging in the act of adultery, he dies as a kaafir. However, since there is no categoric ruling of the Shariah on this issue, the person will not be branded a kaafir. Allah knows best.
