Question
What is bid'ah hasanah (beautiful innovation)?
Answer
All bid'ah is Sayyiah (evil). There is nothing but zulmat (darkness) in all bid'ah. Any innovation which is in conflict with the Sunnah or changes a Sunnah or displaces a Sunnah is evil and haraam regardless of how 'beautiful' the trap may appear. Bid'ah demolishes the Deen.
