I am a follower of the Shaafi' Math-hab. What should I do about the Qunoot when I perform behind a Hanafi Imaam?
Answer
When performing behind a Hanafi Imaam, recite a very short Qunoot, then join the Imaam in Sajdah. The shortest Qunoot is: Allaahumma-ghfirli Yaa Ghafooro OR Allaahummar hamni Yaa Raheemo.
