Question
We are prisoners in a city jail. However, we cannot hear the Athaan which is proclaimed on the outside in the Musjid. Do we have to recite the Athaan in prison?
Answer
Since you do not hear the Athaan outside prison, you should recite the Athaan inside prison. If you can hear the outside Athaan, it will suffice for you.
