Is it permissible for a man or a woman to cut their own hair to be released from the state of Ihraam of Hajj or Umrah?
Answer
After all the rites of Hajj and Umrah have been performed, it will be permissible. If the hair is cut before having completed the rituals of Hajj or Umrah, then the penalty of a Dumm (1 sheep/goat) is incumbent.
