Are the Imaams of Haramain (Makkah and Madinah) Salafis?
Answer
The Imaams of the Haramain do not appear to be Salafis. They perform 20 raka'ts Taraaweeh while Salafis are vehemently opposed to 20 raka'ts. They generally follow the Hambali Math-hab. We do not have much information on them
