Question
A Imaam when leading the Salaat, stands completely inside the Mihraab. Is this proper?
Answer
It is Makrooh for the Imaam to stand completely inside the Mihraab. At least his feet should be out of the Mihraab. Furthermore, if there is sufficient space for the musallis, then he should stand completely outside the Mihraab.
