Is there Sunnah significance in shaking hands after Fardh Salaat? Many people have adopted this practice.
Answer
There is no Sunnah significance in this baseless innovation. After Fardh Salaat is not the occasion for musaafahah (hand-shaking). It is the occasion for performing the Sunnat Salaat or engaging in Tasbeeh and Dua if there are no Sunnat Salaat.
