Who has a greater right to lead the Janaazah Salaat – the Imaam of the Musjid or an Aalim who is the relative of the deceased?
Answer
The Imaam of the Musjid has a greater right to perform the Janaazah Salaat than the aalim of the family if the Salaat will be conducted within the Musjid precincts.
