Question
While in Salaat, the Imaam stops the Qiraa't just one or two aayats before the Sajdah Tilaawat aayat. He does so to avoid making Sajdah. Is his practice valid?
Answer
It is Makrooh to end the Qiraa't just before the Sajdah aayat in order to avoid the Sajdah. It resembles an aversion for Sajdah and this was the trait of shaitaan. However, the Salaat is valid.
