Question
The Imaam mistakenly went into Ruku' in Witr Salaat after Taraaweeh. Then he came back up. Is Sajdah Sahw necessary?
Answer
If the Imaam had forgotten to recite Dua Qunoot, then it was improper for him to reverse back into Qiyaam. Sajdah Sahw is Waajib in both instances, whether he came back to the Qiyaam position or not.
