Question
If one remembers in Ruku' that one did not recite a Surah after Surah Faatihah, should one get up and recite a Surah? What is the procedure in this case?
Answer
When a Surah is not recited after Surah Faatihah, you have to make Sajdah Sahw. When you remember in Ruku' that you had forgotten to recite a Surah, then continue with the Salaat. Don't emerge from the Ruku' to recite a Surah. Proceed with the Salaat as usual, and make Sujoodus Sahw.
