Question
I enter the Musjid after the jamaat is over. A latecomer begins his own Salaat which in all likelihood is the Fardh which he had missed. Can I join him without knowing what his niyyat is?
Answer
If you are not aware of the Fardh Salaat which a person is performing then you may not join him. In this case perform your Salaat alone.
