If it is mandatory to follow one of the four Math-habs, so what is the state of Muslims who died before these Math-habs came into existence?
Answer
The Math-habs are as old as Islam. The Math-habs existed even during the age of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) and the Sahaabah although the names did not exist.
