Question
The Imaam of the Musjid dyes his grey hairs (beard and head) black. What is the position of Salaat behind him?
Answer
The Salaat behind him will be valid, but Makrooh. It is not permissible to allow this faasiq to be the Imaam. The trustees should emphasize that he should desist from the haraam act of dying his hair black. If he persists in this sin, he should be dismissed.
