Question
At the back of the Musjid, on Musjid property the Imaam and some musallis play basketball. For fun. Is this allowed?
Answer
Playing basketball for fun or for whatever reason is not permissible. The Imaam of the Musjid becomes a faasiq for indulging in this kuffaar sport. All sport is forbidden in Islam.
