Is it correct that dolls will be permissible if the eyes and nose are removed?

Merely taking out the eyes and nose does not make the doll permissible. The whole head has to be removed. Nothing changes in the type of dolls one finds nowadays if only the eyes and nose are taken out. The image remains 99.9% the same. Images were the root cause of idolatry, hence haraam.
