Question
I made a vow that if my dua is accepted, I will give a certain amount of money to the poor. The dua was fulfilled. Is it necessary to give the cash money to the poor or may I buy foodstuff with the same amount of money and distribute it to the poor?
Answer
It is permissible to give food for the amount to the poor.
