Question
Can the Imaam who sits lead musallis who are standing?
Answer
If the Imaam is unable to stand, he may lead the Salaat while sitting provided he is able to make Sajdah. If he is unable to perform Sajdah, then those standing may not perform Salaat behind such a sitting Imaam.
