I am a Maaliki. Is there a pause when rising from Sajdah to Qiyaam?
Answer
According to the Maaliki Math-hab, there is no sitting pause when arising from Sajdah to Qiyaam. The sitting pause known as Jalsah Istiraahah is according to the Shaafi' Math-hab.
