Is it permissible for a Muslim to be a judge in a non-Muslim court?
Answer
No, it is not permissible. The
Qur'aan Majeed states explicitly: "Those who do not decide (govern/ rule) according to that (Law) which Allah has revealed, verily they are the kaafiroon." The details of Takfeer are to be found in the Books of Fiqh.
