What should I do when I am invited to a walimah where haraam activities also take place such as photography, music and intermingling of sexes? I am told that it is Sunnat to attend the walimah.
Answer
It is not Sunnat to attend and participate in a haraam function. It is haraam to go to such a 'walimah' where haraam activities are committed.
