My son has completed Hifz. May I invite family and friends for a feast?
Answer
The feasting function for the completion of Hifz is bid'ah. It is not permissible. Distribution of sinhi is also bid'ah. There is no basis for these customs in the Sunnah. Give the money to poor Muslims and you will be rewarded much, Insha-Allah.
