Is it permissible to participate in the 24 hour hunger strike in solidarity of Palestian prisoners?

The 24 hour hunger strike is HARAAM. It is a kuffaar strategy. Islam does not tolerate such stupid kuffaar methods. Muslims who adopt such methods are following the kuffaar into the 'lizard's hole'. When Muslims are impotent, sprawling in disgrace at the feet of the kuffaar, unable to engage in valid Jihad, then the only alternative is Sabr and to make dua, and to attend to moral reformation. Only then will Allah's help come. Emulating kuffaar tactics will bring only greater humiliation to Muslims. This 24 hour hunger strike by stupid South African Muslims is haraam, ineffective and silly.
