I asked a darul ifta about the Hadith of the "silence of a dumb devil". They say that this is a fabricated hadith. Please comment.

Our brief comment is: The 'darul ifta' consists of crank molvis and paper 'mujtahids' They are too stupid and wallow in nafsaaniyat. These juhala do not know what they read in the kutub. The illustrious Fuqaha have cited the Hadith as a Mustadal in the Kutub of Fiqh. The citation by the Fuqaha is the strongest daleel for the authenticity of the Hadith. Insha- Allah, when time permits and if Allah Ta'ala bestows the taufeeq, the jahaalat of the maajin muftis shall be tackled.
