I am doing the third year Aalim course in a Darul Uloom in England.

Question

I am doing the third year Aalim course in a Darul Uloom in England. I want to join the Jihad in either Afghanistan or Iraq, but my parents refuse permission. They insist on me completing my studies. Is it permissible to join the Jihad against the wishes of my parents?

Answer

Don't be misled by ISIS propaganda. ISIS is an American outfit. Complete the Aalim course. It is not permissible to go to Afghanistan without your parents' consent. You will be accursed to go. Furthermore, the Taliban are not in need of manpower. They have more than enough men to fight.

Regarding Iraq, even if your parents grant permission, it is not permissible to go to Syria/Iraq because there is no Jihad there. Muslims are killing Muslims, and the show is orchestrated by America.
