In the first raka't of Eid Salaat, the Hanafi Imaam recited an extra Takbeer. Instead of three, he recited four takbeers. What is the ruling? Was Sajdah Sahw necessary?
Answer
The extra takbeer made by the Imaam mistakenly does not affect the validity of the Eid Salaat. The Salaat is valid. Sajdah Sahw was not necessary.
