Question
The Imaam recited an Aayat of Sajdah, but forgot to make Sajdah immediately. After reciting many Aayats, he remembered and made the Sajdah. Was he supposed to make Sajdah Sahw for this delay? He did not make Sajdah Sahw.
Answer
The Imaam had erred. Sajdah Sahw was Waajib for the delay of more than three Aayats. A delay of three or less Aayats will not make Sajdah Sahw incumbent.
