While the mother is the guardian of the minor (nabaaligh) children, the father always is the guardian. He is entitled to see his children as often as he desires. Obviously a sensible arrangement has to be made for access at a neutral venue. He may take them to sleep at his place only with the consent of the mother. If the father is not a faasiq-faajir, he may take them for an outing with the consent of the mother.
