Ganief Hendricks, the leader of the Al Jama-ah political party, was recently interviewed on Radio Jeem, the radio station of the said political party. In this interview, he made mention of a Fatwa, declaring voting Haraam, issued by Jamiat Joburg. He dismissed this Fatwa on the basis that The Majlis and Mufti Boda helped him start the Al-Jama-ah party. He claims that he has the full backing of The Majlis for his political party and his stance. Is this correct?
