Should a woman in her state of menses perform Sajdah Tilaawat if she hears someone reciting the aayat?

Question

Should a woman in her state of menses perform Sajdah Tilaawat if she hears someone reciting the aayat? Should she make the Sajdah the same time or after she has become paak (pure)?

Answer

The Sajdah aayat is not incumbent for a woman in her haidh. Even after her period has ended, making the Sajdah is not incumbent on her. Just as Salaat is waived, so too is the Sajdah.
