Does the attendance of the Ulama mentioned above constitute an evidence for us laymen to attend such programs?

The attendance of molvis at the talks of the mudhilleen is no basis for permissibility to attend. The molvis and sheikhs of this age are among the ‘vilest specimens of humanity under the canopy of the sky” according to Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam). These jaahil molvis are all in cahoots with Iblees, knowingly or unknowingly. The Deen and Imaan are not their concerns. They have their own corrupt nafsaani and worldly objectives and agendas which they promote under ‘deeni’ guise.
