Is it permissible for a woman in Purdah to view her BLINDNESS "The (physical) eyes are not blind.

Question

Is it permissible for a woman in Purdah to view her BLINDNESS "The (physical) eyes are not blind. But the hearts within the breasts are blind." (Qur‟aan) Qur‟baani animal being slaughtered if there are males present.

Answer

To look at one's Qur'baani animal being slaughtered is Mustahab. But to observe purdah is Waajib. Purdah is not restricted to the cloak and niqaab. It is not permissible for a female to be present if there are ghair mahram males also at the venue even if she is dressed in purdah. It is not permissible to fulfil a Mustahab act if a haraam act has to be committed.
