Question
I buy and sell cars. I give a car to a dealer who will sell it for me. For example I say that I want R50,000 for the vehicle. He may sell it any price and take whatever is in excess of the R50,000 I have stipulated for myself. Is this transaction permissible? Someone said that it is not permissible.
Answer
The deal is permissible. However, the condition is that there should be no argument/ dispute. The owner should not later claim more if the item was sold at a high price.
